Only two artists on continuous replay loop:

1. David Wilcox

2. Gordon Lightfoot

That is all!

Prince - a good place to start is The Hits 1 + 2. 1999, Dirty Mind, Controversy, Around The World In A Day, Sign O The Times.

Rush - the last great record they made was Grace Under Pressure in 1984. I think they jumped the shark on Roll The Bones. Anything before 1985 is good fun.

XTC - I could talk about my favorite band for hours. The best band of the last 30 years in my mind. Those that like them, like them a lot. They built on the sound of influences like the Beatles and the Kinks. IMO Andy Partridge is the top songwriter of my generation. No one can squeeze more hooks into one song.

I recommend the entire catalogue, but you could start with Nonsuch, Skylarking, Oranges & Lemons, Mummer, Apple Venus Pt. 1.

The excellent XTC fan-site:

I've been on a bit of a Kiss kick lately. I've got like 6 or 7 albums on my iPad right now. The rest is everything from Korn and Slayer to John Mayer and Lady Gaga.

Edit: These are the full albums (I typically sync full albums for bands I'm listening to, and then randomize the rest)

Kiss
Alive II
Alive III
Destroyer
Dynasty
Lick It Up
MTV Unplugged
Revenge
You Wanted the Best, You Got the Best

Beatles
#1
Revolver
White Album

Led Zeppelin
Houses of the Holy
Mothership

Sara Bareilles
Live at the Fillmore

Nirvana
Live at Reading

I have a bit of a thing for live albums.

Live at Reading is awesome. I've been listening to that a lot recently.

I have so much new music right now it is a little overwhelming.

Opeth, NIN, Radiohead and TOOL are probably the tops for me.

I just realized how rare it is that I listen to more than one album from a single artist. I'm a one-album-stander.
FYP.

And since I don't listen to mp3s I guess I'll just have to list some of my CD/Vinyl collection. There's plenty more than this, but I was trying to keep it to artists who have released lots of albums.

Devin Townsend/SYL - I have everything released, and some bootlegs.
Soilwork - Everything released and bootlegs.
Children of Bodom - Everything released.
James Brown - Everything released.
Ray Charles - Everything released.
The Beatles - Everything released (on vinyl).
Pink Floyd - Everything released (on vinyl).
Led Zeppelin - Everything released (on vinyl and CD).
Tom Waits - Everything released.
Miles Davis - Almost everything released.
Dropkick Murphys - Almost everything released.
Michael Jackson/Jackson 5 - Everyting released.
Nine Inch Nails - Everything released.
Cypress Hill - Almost everything released.
Prodigy - Everything released.
Dead Can Dance - Everything released.

I could be missing more than I think. I can't find a definitive discography that is trustworthy.

Wow. I didn't 54-40 actually had any real fans. I always thought they were just a practical joke created by CANCON, kind of like Kim Mitchell.

Hahaha, I never said I liked them...just that I've got all their CD's (now in iTunes) from when they played every second weekend at the UofC.
