Pressed stop on the apple tv and tried to choose a new show on citytv...video streaming stopped working and hasn't worked since. Is it possible i found a bug? I certainly can't replicate it.

The CityTV app is garbage.

I was at Chinook this afternoon. The line up at the Apple Store was hilariously long. I actually laughed out loud as I walked by, and then people around me started doing the same. I don't get waiting for something you don't need to line up for at Bestbuy.

Agreed...but I wouldn't call it garbage if it actually streamed video. To the best of my knowledge, there are barely any 3rd party apps that support airplay yet.
If cityTv, globaltv, cbctv all had airplay functionality.... they would all be waaaay more useful to me.
I had just updated to the latest version of the citytv app before it streamed video...so I was pretty elated to see airplay working.
Called a buddy and everything...and then...nothing..only audio.
Man, I'm such a dork.

HST was rough, so it cost a bit more then usual. However, 619.99+44.99+tax -450= roughly ~315$. But went from 16GB to 32GB.

Yeah, I was at Market Mall this afternoon too and had a big chuckle at the people lined up. I just shook my head, what morons.

Me 3; that line at Chinook was insane.
Unfortunately, I have a GC for the Apple store so I'll have to brave the conditions sooner or later to get mine.

Snagged a black 32GB 3G this evening. This thing is insanely fast. Got a black leather smart cover too, which works just like it should.
I'll need to find something for the back tho.

I'll probably go with just an InvisibleShield for the back. Should prevent scratches. Having said that, it might not feel that good in comparison to the aluminium.
Where'd you get it?
My buddy showed up at London Drugs at 4:45 and managed to get the unit of his choice.

Got it at Future Shop. Went to London Drugs first but they said they only had WiFi units.

As first hand accounts roll in about the iPad2, I just thought I'd say - the iPad Classic is better looking, so there.
Enjoy the new iPad...

Ha!
(I still can't get over how fast this thing is, even compared to the first one.)

Any reason to get the 3G, if you already have an iphone with you all the time and can use hot spots?

^^ great question, im wondering the same thing. Would be my first Ipad purchase and I already have a Iphone 4. Seeing as the new update allows me to create a hot spot with my phone i am thinking that purchasing anything more than a wifi Ipad would be foolish.

Posting from my new 64GB wifi. Bottom line, I love it, it's everything I expected.

ALL ABOARD!

I don't see the point in getting a 3G one if you have an iPhone 4 and a decent plan already. I guess it's more convenient to just turn on your iPad and use the 3G it has but for the amount I would use the 3G it wouldn't be worth the extra monthly bill.

I hear the speaker is better on the original too. I'm really, really glad I didn't upgrade
