No, it is ok. It is actually the first thing out of people's mouths when they hear it.

I also remind them that if they want to go by a movie I will go with Father Damian Karas, the priest that sacrificed his life to stop the Exorcist.

The worst I've personally come across was a couple from my hometown that picked 6 or 7 middle names based on what they saw driving to the hospital. Can't remember the whole thing, but 3 of them were lightning, rabbit, and McDonald.
Wish I was making that one up.

My little dude (2yrs old) is named Wolfgang. My heritage is German; his last name is very German, and the two go together quite well. He may well get a bit of a tough time (owww-ooo) in grade school...
As Mustaine said: "That which doesn't kill me, only makes me stronger"...
It's a hell of a rockstar name though..."on the lead guitar..."

I think Dave Attell had it right:
Quote:
If I had a kid, I’d give him a name that would make everyone would want to say his name. I’d call him, Pizza-#####-Santa. I would! Cause everybody likes one of those things.

Had one of the 10 Lennon's last year. It barely even made the list years previously. Ours wasn't named after John though, he goes mostly by Big Lenny.
