I don't think Chuck Lorre is getting enough criticism for his mud slinging, and lack of class.
The more I hear about Chuck Lorre's vanity cards being broadcast while Sheen was supposedly trying to clean up the more it seems like he kicked Charlie when he was down...
Ah who knows, maybe this is a big Andy Kaufman-like prank, ruse etc..
It's disappointing because shows that are actually well written end up doing poorly and get cancelled while Two and a Half Men goes into syndication and is aired a dozen times a day.
Have you ever met anyone that's gotten a ratings box? I have and it was this bar star girl I knew that watched nothing but crappy reality TV, American Idol/America's Top Model and annoying sit coms. Worst part what she watched counted, because she was one of 200 boxes in Calgary that represent all the TV's in the city.
On the bright side think of it as a pyramid scheme where you're on top...sure you'll only get one show you like to their hundred, but do you really want to watch tv every night waiting to die? Read books or Graphic Novels (fancy comics), this is where all the dumbed down TV comes from anyway.

Oddly though, some of the things that come out of his mouth are pretty smart...in a crazy witty cognitive thought kind of way.
I was just thinking something along very similar lines. The kind of things he is saying is stuff I could never dream up.

I actually agree with you here. It does seem like Lorre was kicking him while he was down, and it certainly may be the next 'Joaquin Phoenix/Andy Kaufman' - esque prank.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Sheen doesn't think he was down though. Quite the opposite. So there goes that theory. I view the Lorre comment as more of a shot across the bow, like "Wowa there big fella, slow down a bit." Call it a nervous laugh. Instead, it just ramped Sheen up.
From Good Morning America today:
The father of five children, Sheen said he wasn't worried about his kids being negatively affected by his unique living situation or his recent struggles with drug abuse. "I can say, 'Hey kids, your dad's a rock star,' " he said. " 'Look at his experiences. Look at what he survived.' Bang. There are some of your lessons."
Maybe he's sick, cancer or something. He doesn't look good.

I see CofR's link has been pulled, and judging by the length of it, I think it's a different clip anyways. Here's a roughly 5min clip of the ABC interview from their site. As Dan O'Toole tweeted last night, "Simply put, the greatest interview of all time".
If you haven't seen this yet you're seriously doing yourself a disservice. I'm pretty much gonna be quoting this for the next couple months at least. Winning!

I think that they should create a new show called two and a half woman. Its about two bisexual 20 year old woman who are raising the hot 18 year old niece of a friend who lost her legs in a tragic meat packing accident.
