Got a urgent ques for you guys..
Some hot shot I know who thinks he is a genius emailed me this problem to solve....where do I begin.
In baseball, a player's batting average represents the ratio of hits to at-bats and is expressed as a three-digit decimal. So if a player has a .300 average, he gets a hit 3 times out of 10 times going to the plate.
A player with a .250 goes up to bat. He strikes out, and his average drops to .248.
How many hits did he have before that strike out?
