my bad rumour floating around ESPN ended up on the Jays message board that it was final. Jumped the gun a little bit, however I do look for it to be final pretty soon. Man I wish the Jays would go after him

Lots more deals tonight.

Kolb back to the Brewers for Wes Obermueller.
Burroughs to the D-Rays for Brazelton
J. Estrada to the D-backs for Lance Cormier and Villarreal.
Mark Redman to the Royals for Bayliss

My buddies in oakland tonight said Beane is going hard after Thomas or Piazza. As an A's fan I am not sure who I would rather have. Whoever will stay healthier.

Another interesting deal from earlier today had Mark Loretta go from the Padres to the BoSux for Doug Mirabelli. Loretta had really turned into a really good 2nd baseman down in SD.

The Kolb deal sure didn't do anything for the Braves thats for sure. Thanks for coming for a year now back to the Brew Crew.

Estrada's an intresting trade, always liked him as catcher watching the games on TBS

Yeah Estrada had a great year two seasons ago, I guess the Braves are making way for that young catcher that got a fair bit of playing time this past season.

The Dodgers could become a force if they get Manny. But hopefully the Mets do!

Just a lifetime NY hater here, didn't mean any personal insults with a Mets sucks bomb. To be honest there a team I do follow somewhat because Minaya is my favorite Gm in the league. He did a great job with the 'Spos having to cut 15 mill every year of payroll and still making them competitve in his later years. Trust me when I tell you I'm very educated when it comes to the team.

As for the better players then you, does that mean the Mets player themselves have more skill then me? Pretty obvious since there in the big leagues and I'm not....If it was in refrence to the Jays well they may have better players like they have in years past but certainly haven't had a better "team."

thats nice.

stupid Wilkerson going to Texas. I really wanted this guy in a Jays uniform. I am however enjoying an offseason where the Yanks and Sox aren't in the news as much at all.

And yet here you are in another thread saying the following

"Blue Jays are not going to do good again this year. Just watch"

Pretty much the same as saying the Mets suck. Hello Pot, I'm Kettle.

I saw a post where you said Ryan is going to flop. Apart from that not much else in the way of analysis. Hey - i don't care - you can think the Jays are going to blow chunks if you want. Just don't act all ****y when someone else takes a similar stance against your team. Not trying to start something here at all - just thought your response was over the top given you had posted something very similar earlier.

fine then, the reason the Mets are gonna suck is because there a team built purely on individuals. The Mets rotation sure as hell doesen't scare me after Pedro. Tom Glavine might as well retire, he's a joke now a days. The only thing Benson has going for him is his wife. Trachsel isn't bad.

2 Gold Gloves and a .290 career batting average is pretty good for a bum. He had a tough year last year - IMO the change in environements will do him good.

Why the HELL did the White Sox give up El Duque, Vizcaino AND a prospect for frigging Vazquez.
The guys isn't even that good, I think I'd take Mr. Hernandez anyday over Vazquez.

I gotta disagree, Vazquez IS better then Hernandez. Vazquez has the stuff to be an elite pitcher in this league. However right now the gap between them is not that big, and to add a rp and a damn good prospect is just to much in my mind.

However that Sox rotation is pretty sick. Garica Garland Behurle Contreras Vazquez. The top in the AL big time
