Hopefully someone puts the knife in Sears soon too.

I start looking for sharp objects if I have to spend more than 10 minutes in the Deerfoot Outlet Mall Sears.

What the hell is that place, anyways? I went to grab a pizza at Pizza Hut at Southland and Elbow dr the other night and saw the Fabricland had been replaced by a Giant Tiger.

My interest was piqued, as I couldn't see in any of the windows, but not piqued enough to go inside, but piqued enough to ask about it on a message board, but likley not piqued enough to check back in this thread for an answer.

Also, as I continued down the parking lot I saw the replaced Fabricland, which I assumed was gone forever, where the old Sports Swap used to be. I felt like the guys in Super Troopers when the cops are screwing with them. I got the hell out of that place as fast as I could.

Last week picked up.

2 Bananana Republic sweaters
3 Gap undershirts
2 Gap Button ups

Took a few of the items to get tailored and the total cost for everything, with the tailoring, came to just under $70.00.
Hipster.

Discount store that carries some pretty good deals from time to time. A cross between a Target, a Winners and a dollar store.

The one in Thickwood once it opened. The one downtown did have an A&W across from it... but then an A&W opened up across the street from the one in Thickwood.

Mmm thats odd, never realized that.

Fond memories.

As long as A&W still has breakfest in the North Hill Mall location the seniors will stay.

Ever been to that place before the rest of the stores open, it's a mini retirement community there! I had to go to the registry office there early one day and couldn't believe the seniors all lined up at A&W. I swear they buy 5 papers and they just get passed around all day until they go home and do it again tommorow.

I can't stop laughing at this name. I looked it up and it actually exists. I wasn't sure if you were making it up.

I was reared as a child in Thickwood most of my life, what's funny about that!

You can take the child from Thickwood, but you can't take the Thickwood out of the child?

LOL! Another Thickwood alumnus here. I'd never thought of it that way before. Hilarious.

Other than the fact it's in a location I'd rather not have lived in, I'd love to be a Thickwood alum.

Well in Calgary you can always go to the Northwest and Brent's Wood and Charles' Wood are both easily available to you.

Hell the whole Tri-wood area if you're into that sort of thing.

There is a joke to be made there, but I can't think of it.

Finn Wood?

Maybe that's it. I dunno.
