As for the other 2, good co-ordinaters but not HC material at all.
He may make some players better but he's not a good strategic guy. Lions fans will remember him as the only coach ever to not take the ball first in OT. That's not an upgrade!

Marty is also a lot like Andy Reid in that he can really get away from the run game.

There were some near me. It was just beautiful going down near the field and seeing NBC and all the players and bright lights. An amazing atmosphere and a great defensive performance by the Seahawks. Still not sold on Whitehurst....we even started a "We Want Hasselbeck" chant when we saw him warming up. Seattle are 10.5 point underdogs but that's fine. The Saints didn't fare well coming to the west coast vs SF and Arizona and Seattle still has a shot. I'm on seahawks.com trying to get playoff tix as I type.

Seahawks +10.5? I'd take that bet in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't. The smart play would be to tease the Saints and Ravens.

Just got back from a long overseas trip. Lots of good matchups in the playoffs. Good luck to all the teams in it. Can't wait for it to begin!

Take Seahawks 1H then Saints 2H. Seattle will come out strong but fade later on...typical Seahawks.

Why not tease the Seahawks? +17.5!

They hung with the Saints in NO for most of the game.

NO doesn't travel well, they barely beat SF and struggled a bit against ARI on the road.

Seattle's just a nasty place to play a playoff game in. It's so loud! And it may be cold and rainy.

I like New Orleans in a too close for comfort game.

Frankly, I like the Chiefs to beat the Ravens. Tamba Hali has a big, big game.

The Colts will dispatch the Jets rather handily.

Finally, the Packers and Eagles go to 7 OT's. I can't pick that game.

Rain/snow with 50 mph winds expected for Saturday. I'm not saying the Seahawks win but I don't expect Brees and Company to blow out Seattle

I'm more concerned about the injuries the Saints have picked up in the past couple games. When you're signing Deshawn Wynn to bolster the RB corps, you may have an issue.

Perhaps Reggie will show up and have a big game, he seemed to be warming up last week.

Hmmm...interesting thoughts. I expect the Saints to run Seattle right out of the stadium myself.

I also think the Colts win at home. KC though, I just dont see it. I think that Raven d is just way to much for a young team like the Chiefs, though home field may nullify that some.

No idea on the Eagles/Packers. I fully expect a great game from the Packer D once again, but i also expect Vick to rebound with a huge game...and both those things cant ahppen.

Here are the lines for this week...

Saints are -11
Colts -3
Eagles -3
Ravens -3

NFL released which teams will be playing whom for next year.

Colts 2011 games:

The Colts’ home schedule, in addition to traditional AFC South foes Tennessee, Jacksonville and Houston also consists of Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Atlanta and Carolina.

The Colts’ away schedule, in addition to the AFC South foes, also consists of Baltimore, Cincinnati, New England, New Orleans and Tampa Bay.

You can find your team here:

Damn thats a rough schedule, you arguably play the 2 best divisions from the AFC and NFC then on top of that have to face NE and a KC team who should be even better this next year. Lucky for you your division is fairly week pending some incredible turn arounds next year

Tom Cable's option not picked up according to Shefter. Raider fan reaction seems to be about 98% against this move and reading what players had to say about him, he certainly had the backing of the dressing room.

Disagree, the seahawks don't know how to lose by a little bit. Their average margin of loss was in the mid 20's this year ... that's huge. Plus coaching becomes a bigger part of the equation in the playoffs and this isn't a rose bowl.
