The stats look flattering as the Raiders defense gave up their usual big plays defensively but outside of that they had a really easy time shutting down the Tebow. Honestly he wouldn't get over 75 yards passing against the Steelers defense.

So in other words, he did a good job of taking what the defense gave him. Sounds positive to me.

I'm no Tebow lover, I thought the guy was over-hyped and probably shouldn't have been drafted in the first round, but you can't question is work ethic and his heart.
Is he going to evolve into a Manning or Brady like passer? Probably not, but that doesn't mean he can't be a serviceable quarterback.
People are so quick to judge, the guy has started one game in the NFL, give him a chance for crying out loud.

nope, I don't get why this kid gets so much venom. Really Vince Young gets all the praise in the world and the dude is as fragile mentally and "considered" suicide or got into a fight at a scipt club because someone dogged on the Longhorns.
Or A guy like Jay "I've never won at anything college or Pro" Cutler gets a free pass? The dude is a ticking interception machine. But it's Tim Tebow and everyone has to hate the guy.
I'm a Chiefs fan and I can really care less about what he does in the pros. He get a ton of hate because he just ran for a 40 TD run because everyone must of just fell down to allow him to do that huh?

Over Hyped? He was dogged by every "pro scout" on Tv. He did however have a great COMP %, TD/INT ratio, QB Rating. He had great stats. But played in a funny spread offense, and has a weird throwing motion.

Well maybe they should make him a MLB because in my opinion they need to learn how to stop teams from trampling all over them in the run game first and foremost!
I'll bet fewer people would doubt him as being a guy who could become a great MLB than there is those who'll doubt him as a QB.

Sorry, I should have said in college, and I referring more to the "if you can spend 3 minutes with this man, he'll change your life forever" type stuff.
He was as dominant as a college player as there can be.

You're probably right about that, which is sad.
The Broncos defense is garbage. They have 1 good piece and he's probably got 2 games left in a Broncos uniform.
Not counting Dumervil of course.

Dude, Coming from a hardcore UF fan that even wore on me. I was tired of the Jesus this and jesus that stuff all the time. It was kinda gross with all the media attention just about that too. I understand what you're trying to say now.

I cannot believe the Packers offense can move the ball so easily on this defense. I took the Pats -11 and that's the end of that chapter.

Yeah I think Pats defense figured all they needed to do was show up.

Packers have had a great offensive game plan for tonights game. I don't think there were many who gave them a chance in this one. Scary thing is that their defence has played well, and New England has still hung 24 points plus the pick 6 on them.
Simply put you can't win with defence in the NFL anymore. You want to beat the good teams you need to be able to put up 20+ points as a minimum and usually 30.

Not sure who you blame for that debacle, the young kid, or the coach for not having a plan.

It's lack of experience in that situation. He wasn't prepared for a situation where it was 4th and 1 and he was running out of time. A more experienced backup like Kitna, or Bulger has been there and can get a play off. For Flynn it's a tough lesson those guys learned earlier in their career.

Not sure it's anyone's fault, just one of those things. It's 4th down, can't spike it, crowd is loud so can't hear the coach through the headset.

Kind of feel bad for Flynn... a seventh round pick after being an MVP in the BCS, but a win against the Patriots in Foxborough would have immediately made him a household name.
Not so sure Pats needed the win anyways... They are going to win the final two games and lead the AFC.

Every win is needed. Jets and Steelers hold the tiebreaker so if the Patsies had lost, it would have essentially been just a 1/2 game lead.
