So if the show didn't get renewed they would have all just fried in the CDC building?

I'm finding this trend elsewhere as well, especially the Dexter thread. What are people hoping for?

Has this show been picked up for a second year? I can't see it continuing on. It was laughable. I liked the first two episodes and then it was pretty bad.
With these characters when there is some drama going on and they are reacting to it it made me chuckle.
I hope a second season does happen because this was entertaining for me. Fun to mock the next silly adventure.

My only problem with it was the old guy not wanting to leave the blonde. "You can't just start caring for someone and then leave" or whatever lamo dialogue it was.
Other than that I thought it was pretty good.

The next season is not only happening but it is going to be double in length + an episode (13).

I think the series has been great, but I am not sure how far it can go.. I just hope they don't milk it and it gets all Lost out where nothing happens in an episode and aliens are the cause of it or some dumb crap.

Cool. It does provide some entertainment for me.
Also, just because I don't really like it doesn't mean that I am right.

I want to see someone kill a zombie with a frying pan in the next season, in honour of L4D2.
Also, they need some new zombie types. In honor of L4D again, it's be great to see some smokers or even a freakin' Tank in there. How awesome would that be...
'Shoot 'em in the head! Shoot 'em in the head!'
'How can I?? It's in his chest!!'

Ill watch the first episode of season 2 but if its anything the snore-fest that the first episode is, then easily it will count as a fail in my books.
Why they didnt expand the plot and keep Grimes away from his family for longer is beyond me.... bringing them together so soon pretty much ruined the fun of the show. Now its all boring and drama and crap.

I'd rather you stopped watching now.

Great episodes but way too short. The CDC thing seemed way too rushed to me. Should have been a two hour finale with less cramming of stuff in. Like the blonde chicks relationship with the old man, in the comics they develop that a little bit better than how they handled it here.

The zombies need to emote more. They also need to articulate their lines. It's like those zombie actors seem to have a limited emotional range. They're either angry or not. WTH. And their lines... I can't even make out what they're saying. It all sounds like mumbling and groaning to me. Take some damn acting lessons, you hippies!

It is preference, you are allowed to dislike things. For the same reason that people can understand why they like something, they must be able to understand why someone does not like the exact samething.
As long as you aren't telling other people they are wrong for liking it, there is no problem with you stating your opinion.

I enjoyed the finale and the series. I was also hoping for a 2 hour finale, and with the exception of a few glaring plot holes (but lets face it, zombies themselves are a plothole), I was satisfied. Seems like Shane kept swinging from good guy to bad guy up until the finale, and Rick's wife (again, until the finale) treated him pretty unfairly in my eyes.

I think Shane is a dirtbag, trying to force himself on his partners wife. He may have saved Ricks life in the hospital and helped his family, but quit trying to play house with Ricks wife after hes returned.

That's what Im talkin about. He starts off moving in on his wife; it's an apocolypse, so if he assumes his friend/family is dead then he and Ricks wife are probably overwhelmed and he's attempting to protect/comfort her and her kid. But the way he acted after Rick returned was pretty terrible, which swung him into the sleeze-category. Followed by a brief glimmer of hope when he stands up to Mr. Beats-his-family, immediately going too far, etc. His morality swings wildly up until the finale when he finally sold himself for a total d-bag.

He should be banging the blonde. After all, they are going to have to repopulate the Earth. Good thing they have the boy and girl along, for that reason, also.
Still wonder what happened to Mearl though?

Yeah, and then shrink them down to make them into midget zombie hybrid slaves.
