Yeah I totally plan to watch the original Dawn. My gf isn't as interested for whatever reason. We also have Dead Alive on the list of movies to watch.

I saw 28 Days Later a couple weeks ago, and they did something similar to one of the zombified soldiers. Just captured it to see how long it would take for him to starve to death. That movie had a wicked first half, but I didn't really like the 2nd half. It just took too weird of a turn for me.
I just pvr'd and watched one called Doomsday a couple of weeks ago. The synopsis was 28 days later meets the Road Warrior, which was a pretty good description. It's not bad. Saw it listed in the guide the other night, so if you want to waste 2 hours on it, I'd say, do it.
I think it'd be great if they did a new season with a new cast in a new location; but, during the exact same time period as the first season.
I was also hoping for a two-hour finale, because THAT would have been a good send off, but oh well. I was curious about the comment made at the end of the show that the French almost found a cure. And, we still don't know what happened to the dude with no hand...
Seriously a finale is supposed to make people want to continue watching... that was a disgrace...
Ill watch the first episode of season 2 but if its anything the snore-fest that the first episode is, then easily it will count as a fail in my books.
Why they didnt expand the plot and keep Grimes away from his family for longer is beyond me.... bringing them together so soon pretty much ruined the fun of the show. Now its all boring and drama and crap.

In the comics he finds his family almost immediately. Right after the tank incident (which is different in the books) he finds his family.
I have only watched the first episode so far as I am going to watch them all in a marathon. It seems like it is hit and miss for each episode.

I would like to un thanks every letter of this post. Especially the bolded line. If you ONLY want to see people killing zombies with tons of blood and gore, go rent a video game or watch any other zombie made in the last few years. There is so much more to this show than that.
I thought it was a very strong finale to a great, albeit very short season.
A finale is supposed to make you keep watching next season. I personally can't wait to see what happens next to the group. I want to know where they go. I want to know what the CDC guy whispered into Grime's ear at the end. Season 2 can't come soon enough.

There is nothing wrong with drama and character development.... if you actually care about the characters. That's the problem with this show IMO, the acting is bad, and most of the characters are unbelievable and unlikable.

I loved the final, best episode of the season. Loved the fact they had to leave the CDC building almost immediately after getting there. No settling down for this group.
If a guy like TylerSVT hated it, then you can pretty much guarantee it's good.
I can't help but chuckle at the members of the academy on here bitching about acting quality. The acting really isnt that bad, especially compared to 90% of zombie movies.
