They're restoring it best they can. The guy from blizzard said likely they were farming with my toon. Lucky for me he's 80 now lol.

80 and I bet you have a stack of gold and other goodies when you get it back, I know mine did when it was hacked a couple years ago and they only had it for hours.

This is actually a change they put in to try to free up time from their reps, as I understand it. They will offer (or just give you) some basic gear and a sack of gold instead of looking to restore your character completely. This is nice for an alt or three, but if it happened to a raid geared main toon, you'd have to push a bit to get them to restore exactly what you had.

wow. blizzards customer support is on par with .. well this is the worst experience ever. 1st guy told me yesterday he can have it solved within 5 hours. 25 hours later, 2nd guy tells me 2 hours and gives me his email. 4 hours later and no response from the guy @ his email i was disconnected for the 2nd time off their phone queue. waiting on hold again. thank god for speakerphone

can anyone recommend a server to me? im a pvp guy and balnazar was my old stomping grounds but the servers is 2k strong :|

Stay away from Kel Thuzad. Last time I played WOW was during Wrath launch and that server was just a fricken gong show for the next year.

Medium population server > high..
