Walking 1 block to chicken on the way and ordering:
16 pieces of chicken
1 large box of fries
6 corn fritters

Then walking to the 7-eleven that used to be behind Chicken on the way and grab a large slurpee for 99 cents and not having to pay GST on it.

Those were the days.

Backyard was always great, I remember being about 12 and spending hours and hours practicing in the back yard.

I can't thank you enough for reminding me about gutter races, I had completely forgotten about doing that, except we used wooden matches. The best times were in the spring when you would get little ice bridges over the gutter and waiting to see if it would make it through. Ah those were the days.
