Put down the green pipe Poison, Saskies better not be looking past BC this weekend or they could be in for another unpleasant surprise.

Although it would be getting bright outside at about 4 AM. In this day and age though, don't think it's all that important.
And that's just it. Here's the sunrise/sunset times for Calgary:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldcloc...&afl=-11&day=1

Earliest sunrise is 5:21 AM and latest sunset is 9:55 PM. How many of us are awake at 4:21 AM; vs. how many of us are awake at 8:55 PM?

Well, I promise this anyone planning to run for Premier or Prime Minister and promising to eliminate the DST will have my vote, I will ignore all your other shortcomings and put up with the horrible job you may do for 3-4 years as long as you get rid of the DST... I fk'in hate it.

2 times a year I can't sleep or I sleep in. My internal clock is quite accurate and this just messes with it, its basically 2 weeks of recovery each time so a full month out of every year I'm a sleep walking zombie for absolutely no reason other than apparently some long dead idiots wanted more sunlight in the evening. Last I checked darkness didn't affect my ability to shop or go out. We are not solar powered.

And the electricity argument was based on patterns from when it was freaking invented... it has nothing to do with usage patterns today.
