Yes it is. If you've driven one second in your life you should know this.
Don't understand how you could possibly come up with the conclusion that the right is for people who want to go BELOW the limit.

Me and my buddies in highschool used to box people in and drive the EXACT speed limit, so much fun.

Wow. If you're driving in the left lane and somebody comes up behind you going faster, move to the right. It's that simple.

U know what's even simpler? Drive the speed limit and you won't care what lane I am in.
How did using the right lane if you are unable to drive upto the posted limit become the left lane is for speeding rule?
They are not the same!

If you are having engine troubles for example, you stay in the right lane with your hazards on. Otherwise, both lanes are expected to travel the posted limit.
Show me one reference proving otherwise?

While you might be making a good point in terms of how you drive, you are totally fooling yourself if you think people envy your car.
It's a $10,000 car.

I would take that car... the SVT Cobra with Mystic paint (Mystic Cobra) is rare. That car is a future collectors item. Just saying, not your average old purple Ford.

If you can't drive the speed limit you should get off the road, not drive in the right lane with your four ways on like a dope.
Anyway, I think you're trolling on this issue because nobody can seriously be that r-tarded.

You don't think someone might have valid reason for not being able to drive the speed limit but needs to be on the road? I guess you've never had to drive on a donut before.

If I need the left lane to get to my destination I will merge into it ASAP and stay there.
Sorry about your need for speed, but as long as I am doing 5 over the limit don't expect me to move for you.

as much as i am against this notion that the left lane is for speeding, i do believe if someone wants to pass you, you should move over (for your own safety).
that said, just because i acknolowdge its in my best interests to get the fvck outa the way of a speeding maroon, doesnt mean i believe the left lane is for speeding in.
and you may need to drive slower then the speed limit for many reasons, thats why the saying is "slower traffic, keep right".
its not "faster traffic, keep left" for a reason.

That person can weave in and out, not me. These kinds of unwritten laws only apply to me on Highway 2.

i know what you are saying but .... one of my most important strategies is to let the idiots get as far away from me as possible. if i can expedite that by simply moving over to the right lane, i will.
i still dont agree the left lane is for speeding though. totally wrong interpretation.

If you say so.
If you can't tell the difference between someone doing 65 in a 60 and someone doing 80 in a 60 then I don't know what to say. It's not like I am the impatient one roaring up behind people and riding the bumper.
