Lol. Thanks, Reg. You should take your own advice and apply it to your posts in the FoI. My post was a reply to jammies' post, hence jammies' post being quoted in mine.

My point still stands. The solution to d-bag drivers is not to be a bigger d-bag.

I totally agree with your point lol. I was just saying he still has a pretty fast car.

Or you eliminate the source of the stress. So pulling out a shotgun and blowing away the left lane struggler while you pass him on the right is the optimal solution.

Discussing safe driving issues would be inappropriate in hockey-related threads.

Why the hell would I care about other people when none of them are as awesome as me? I'll drive how I want as long as I don't get pulled over by the pigs it doesn't matter right?

The nice thing about having a car with better acceleration and braking (i drive a supercharged mustang cobra) is that no body can catch up to me if i want to dust them, and i can also brake faster if they decide to be a prick.
Me and my buddies in highschool used to box people in and drive the EXACT speed limit, so much fun.

You and your buddies probably all wear Ed Hardy shirts and white sunglasses, eh?

Mad Max taught me to drive too. The weekly cage fight to the death over a can of gas is my favourite part of driving.

These threads always deliver. Nothing more annoying than someone willfully holding up traffic for their strange enjoyment. You sure showed me, by driving like a jackass and annoying me and the 15 cars behind me.

Uh.. No, I worked for 4 years at 14 at a restaurant and saved all that money, than I worked for 2 years downtown in the summer, took my money and invested it and when I wanted to buy my car, I sold a bunch of stock and bought it. I didn’t use any of my parents money, so you are wrong... shocking what making assumptions does...

It's Calgary, not some backwoods community. Regardless of the capabilities of the vehichle you drive, if you're intentionally pissing people off that piss you off, you're the biggest threat on the road. It sounds like you and your 'buddies' still are in high school.

I don’t go out of my way to piss people off, but if someone is tailgating me when I’m doing the speed limit or over the limit OFF THE HIGHWAY, I’ll sit and piss them off and do the exact limit. The worst that can happen is they will hit my car in which case it’s their entire fault... no biggie.
On the highway is a different thing, I will always sit in the right lane unless passing, I will always accelerate when I pass as to not slow down people who are going faster than me in the fast lane.
I've taken many advanced driving classes and spent the last 3 years autocrossing and road racing... I know the capabilities of my car and what is safe and unsafe driving.
I think you think I cut people off and intentionally drive slow... not at all, they have full reigns to go around me but if they can’t, they can kiss my ass.

I can see that, but i dont go out of my way to piss them off, but when they get pissed off over the dumbest stuff i always find it funny.
Driving IS serious business but some people are r idiculous with how mad they get. The other day i was in a queue to turn off glenmore onto deerfoot south when some guy came from the far left lane, cut off the guy in front of him, drove into the merge lane, went right to the end and then proceeded to cut someone else off.... Those are the people i think should sit behind me going the speed limit.

Your car is an old purple Mustang, it is hideous and therefor anything you mention about driving is invalid.

And to answer your next question, yes, driving the speed limit in the left lane is grandma-style.

the unwritten rule isnt that the left is for speeding. the rule is that the right lane is for those that need to go BELOW the limit.

While you might be making a good point in terms of how you drive, you are totally fooling yourself if you think people envy your car.
It's a $10,000 car.
