That doesn't just happen at government jobs. Sometimes they make a lot more money because it takes them so much longer, they're on OT.

4 days/week, 10 hour days...(3 day weekends every weekend), they shift stats (friday stats move to the thursday)
also, the work place is licensed...not kidding...booze parties that are legal, and free...

True, but in private sector jobs, usually higher productivity means a bonus or better opportunity for advancement. Not so in government.
