Anyhoo the next kid that showed up had saucers in his eyes while I dumped the bowl of chocolate bars into his bag. He walked away and made some remark of i'll be back next year for the same.

We bought a box of 125 chocolate bars and I think we are going to give them all away, which is great because my kids won't need anymore than what they get.

How old is too old for Halloweeners? We have had several high schoolers come to the house so far.

Nice weather. Usually the kids are bundled up in coats so you can hardly see their costumes.

45 or so for us. Mostly young ones. Only a couple teens.

We downloaded creepy Halloween sounds on iTunes and decorated galore. Doggy bags with pringles, tootsie rolls and chocolate bars + body parts gummies.

We ran out of candy at about 7:15. A total of 37 kids.

Lil punks got Tootsie rolls and Dots.

The last kid that showed up was dressed as a cereal box and had a plastic knife taped to the front. I asked him what he was supposed to be and he said..."A cereal killer."

23 here in Hillhurst. Full size candy bars seem to have progressively increased our customer base. That's up from 15 last year which was a Saturday.

Running low though, going to some backup wagon wheels just in case.

Wagon Wheels from full sized candy bars? Wow.

Houses with full sized chocolate bars were the best.....wagon wheels..not so much.

One group so far and only 2 of the four "kids" had costumes... Super disappointing as i bought like 200+ mini chocolate bars. I even had a pretty sweet little flames pumpkin.

I should have taken a picture. His mother did such a nice job on the costume.
