I am aware of baseball's tradition. I just can't believe their tradition overrides the almighty dollar and accessibility for the dozens of baseball fans out there.

As a Reds fan, I'm less than thrilled, but I have a ton of respect for Doc. Couldn't have happened to a better player and person.
I hope the Reds win by 10 in game 2...

Good to see the Reds not only shut-out but no hit as well, surprising the great Votto didn't step up in a big game.
It sucks to cheer for the Phillies but hopefully they get theirs in the next round, for now they are the lesser of two evils.

Don't forget these playoffs have to be played everyday and needs to wrap up in a Month. They can't play one of two games a day and play into December!
For example I think NHL not playing Games 1 and 2 on back-to-back nights is a waste of time and playoffs go into June losing alot of momentum for the casual fan.
And I enjoyed tracking games at work, made the day go faster!

One of the most overdue playoff appearances and Halladay delivers in a big way. He always seemed like a guy who'd up his game in October, now we got to see it.

Yanks almost get screwed. That was a catch. But Mo comes through, only one more pitch needed.

Oh yeah, also, nice to see the Doc really show something special in October.

Good for the Doc. He is definitely my favorite pitcher in the majors. He is a consummate nice guy, great team player and he definitely deserves the win and of course the No Hitter to boot. I am not much of a baseball fan but I am following Doc Halladay's and the Phillies' quest to win the championship. I thought my night is going to be better when the Twins were leading early only to blow the lead and lose the game against the Yankees. I cannot stand the Yankees and I hope they lose in this series right away.

Wow, you think Halladay was ready for his playoff debut? Outstanding. So disappointed that I only got to see 3 outs from the whole game.

How is it that Rivera breaks so many bats? Other pitchers throw harder.

Rivera is more accurate, his pitches always gets batters in on the handle.
It's amazing that he never hits any batters.

Why don't hitters move away from the plate, to get the pitches away from the hands?

Because then he'll just throw to the other side of the plate and make them look stupid.

Yup...he is just sick at locating the ball on the edges. You stand back and you wont get a sniff of the outside pitches, move in and he saws you off at the hands. Truly one of the most amazing pitchers ever.

This isn't cricket

I've mentioned this before, I just don't get Tampa. I know they're good but I don't know how. Everytime I see them, they can't even score a run. They get shutout alot but they win alot of games. It's so weird.

Lincecum bounced back from a shaky 1st inning with 14 Ks.
Posey is my new favorite player. Scored a run and hit a triple.

That's as crazy an inning as you'll see.
Chapman comes in up 4-3 throwing about 101 mph but he throws it dead straight. The Phillies put it in play and the Reds defense kicks it around like a hand grenade. What happened to his insane slider? I think he threw it just once. Reds have made 4 errors.
Dusty just can't catch a break in the playoffs.
Phillies lead 6-4 and still threatening.
