those jerkoffs are the guys who brought in guys who weren't on their roster for the playoffs.

My team had huge attendance issues as well. Was a sorry season for us.

I don't make a lot of friends in this league though. Looking forward to seeing a few guys next summer hopefully and reacquainting myself.

They were beating us 4-3 with 1 minute left in the game. They had 4 in the box and 2 guys tossed. Refs were calling both teams at every scrum.....so we just caused another scrum, their player was given 5 and they forfeited the game due to not being able to put enough guys on the floor.

Huntington Hills was probably the hottest arena to play in this season, I actually thought West Hillhurst or SAIT had the best playing conditions this year.

For the six of us,it might be a better option for us to look into joining a team that doesn't have enough players. It wouldn't be a full CP team, but we can just be jerks and exclude the other members of the team.

I spared for Easy Company for the past couple seasons. Played FT for the Vipers years ago. I'm taking this season off Superleagues but am still playing in the Sharks league.

Anyone playing in this league?

That GHL that Papi34 was mentioning is another option.

$1,420 for early registration, or $1,475 for regular (deadline is Sept 3rd). So $100 per person.

Looks like they exclusively play on Sundays too.

Maybe a significantly smaller cost would garner more interest? Plus, Sunday games would mean minimal to no Flames games missed.

I have a feeling thats a better idea. more set days for games and such and a better price. just checked it out and seems pretty good. less games but seems pretty similar as well.

If you are set to play Sundays only I might be interested, depending on the time. I played in the Sharks with AlbertGQ this summer.

I also play GHL, and just thought you guys might want some input on it.

I play div 1/2 in superleagues. GHL is a significant drop down in skill level from that, maybe on average div 4-5? Maybe lower, I haven't ever played those divs. However, a few teams have a bunch of ringers that are just playing for fun. Still a fun league, but there are definitely a few guys that are levels above the others. It is a very casual league though.

So in turn the GHL will probably have less bags that think SuperLeagues is professional hockey.

I've played both GHL and Superleagues. GHL is getting rougher every season and the competition is getting better too. I've only played SL div 4 and many of those players play in both.

I know the guy that runs the GHL personally and if my schedule allowed it, I'd play in that over SL.

It's the ref that looks like Comic Book Guy from the simpsons.

Also if you guys play GHL I would come out. I've been playing in Superleagues for 11 seasons now. I would have to play as a spare.
I can score lots and am a very good agitator but am quite slow.

Yea I'd be up for setting up a GHL team, fits in better with my schedule too. I'll start collecting names and try recruiting some more people. It being on a set day may get more people out too, I'm starting to recruit some of my friends.

I think it should be a recommendation that people come out to one of our Signal Hill games to meet everyone.
