Not only that, but nobody knows when I just roll out of bed in the morning without a shower.

I think shaving my whole head takes more time than styling used to, but it's much more comfortable being totally bald. There's something so nice about the feeling of a cool summer breeze over a clean scalp.

I once shaved my head to look like male pattern baldness as a social experiment too. It was pretty fun. I surprised my wife by taking my hat off in the middle of a meal when I went to have lunch with her by her office.
Ultimately, I realized that there is a good kind of baldness and a bad kind. That male pattern baldness was a little embarrassing. I looked like MMF's avatar pic.

Edit: To add, Keanu totally looks like he's living the dream.

That is the definition of living the dream. I bet that guy works at Bioware.

He seems like just an amazing guy. I wish I could be friends with him, but he would neither hire me, nor hang out with me.

If this theory is as spot-on and fantastic as your theory about what women want in a modern man, I know I'd love to hear more. I can't speak for everyone, but I know I'm ready and willing to join your smooth-as-a-pubescent-seal Utopia.

Wake up, transit an hour and a half to work. Spend all day working at a physically intense job. Come home. Spend an hour exercising. Shower. Shave every other day or so.

Am I cool enough for you, or am I just a slob who can't shave in the morning?

That sounds like me, except I love my job. I wake up, brush my teeth, make my blender breakfast, and I'm out the door in 15 minutes.

Haha. You can't even cook your own breakfasts?
Harden the fook up.
Whan I was a cowboy on the range, we cooked our own breakfasts, not some unshaven, hairnet wearing slob down at Phil's.

Trust me, you're not the first. Every generation complains that the next generation is worse off. Of course, the last 40,000 generations were wrong. Maybe this will be the one though...

Vacation loving? It's Saturday. So now you're begrudging people who don't work weekends?

PS, it's awesome you're gonna have a shave and shower. Please be sure to update throughout the day on the status of your bowel movements.

Ah yes, because previous generations were always oh so clean shaven. Take this guy here as an example of what successful people didn't look like:

Yeah, and there's also this guy, and I'll be damned if someone disparages Chuck Norris.

Little know fact: There is no chin behind Chuck Norris' beard. There is only another fist, waiting to make fistical love to Narbez's baby smooth face.

You used to be one of my favorite posters. Well okay, you still are but this whole condescending BS has to stop! This whole thing is almost tragic, watching a formerly highly regarded poster keep hanging himself again and again and again. In the religion and philosophy threads you kick some serious ass, but it seems being satirical is completely lost on you.

Please go back to being cool again.

I think he's gone too far to come back. Once people like him see the attention they get from playing a role, they just can't go back. It's called ReggieDunlopitis.

But in that case its like the "No Homers," being your allowed to have one. And if Reggie has the disease named after him then at least he is the original.

I think peter12 needs to put the CP crackpipe down for a couple of weeks.

And yet, I've managed to be very successful in my career, which is 20 years in so far. In all likelihood, far more so than you'll ever achieve, because (and you can mail me a cheque later on for this life-altering tip): the ability to be accepting of people of all types will progress you in your chosen vocation far more than looking like a pre-pubescent altar boy.

well said bro.

I wear my hair fairly short and anything from a well trimmed beard to stubble and it has never impeded my progress in the business world. People, for the most part, judge me for the quality of my character and the level of my intelligence, not my personal grooming habits.

And I'm doing just fine financially, thanks.
