3rd from the end, IIRC.
This must be a mistake. Seriously. Me, obs, and Aeneas stayed for awhile and chilled. The place was immaculate when we left. I know this because I NEVER leave garbage at a campsite. Ever. Getting this pinned on us pisses me off like nothing else.

Yeah, they might have us confused with the teams that were right at the end, the place was pretty clean when I left and I know that at least Aeneas and 4x4 stayed even later and cleaned up.
I dont know how this could have been us, hell, most of us dont smoke and I didnt bring anything, let alone cardboard. I brought a cooler of beer. And a Jeep.

She told me it took the guy over 30 minutes to clean the site and they tried to charge us $10 for that and the credit card was declined....

Just talked to someone at On deck, their camping their is 10/day same as riverbend but its first come first served.
They have 154 sites. But from what I recall it is an open field.

it is an open field, flat, no shade and exposed. i'm gonna look to see if there is someplace else close by

Okay. I was just going to tell them that our team only had 2 members who smoke, and they had made a conscious effort to throw all of their butts into the firepit, making it highly unlikely that it was us. Further, 3 members stayed for a couple of hours to clean up.

Worst case is we have to put a bunch of tarps up. But with no trees it is difficult. I have a lot of tarps but no poles or anything.

On another note, why is she telling us this now? she took the booking, probably took the deposit, and all was well until 2 days before we show up?

Told her that there might be some mistake, possible confusion with adjacent sites or maybe the winds that day blew garbage into our site. There were a few of us that stayed and cleaned and then chilled out for a bit. That I'm such a bitch about people that leave garbage in a campsite, that getting this pinned on us makes me really want the chance to clear it up. Offered her a cash deposit that could be held until a visual site inspection was done by one of their employees when we vacate.
She's "calling the boss" and will call me back later today.
Only thing that is nagging at me now is that it's not like they need our business when there are how many other teams that are likely happy to take our spot. F*** maybe someone should call and try to get a couple of spots under a different ball team name?
Quick, someone come up with a funny team name and reserve us a couple of spots!
