Hey guys!

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! It is really hard to believe it is that time of year again! Time to start thinking about ball.

I am sending this email to let you know that we are accepting registration for the 2010 season right away. Please let me know as soon as possible to confirm that you want your spot or to let me know that you don't. We will hold all returning teams spots in their current league until February 1, 2010 and if we have not heard from you by then, we will release the spot and give it to teams that are on the waiting list.

Please be aware that we will require a first payment of $200 to hold your spot by February 1st, 2010, then half of your outstanding balance at your first meeting in March and the remainder of your fees at the second meeting in April. We will not be making any exceptions as we do not want to be chasing down fees into the ball season or having to eject teams for not paying.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let me know and I will answer any questions you may have!

The letter refers to "ball": basketball, floor hockey, etc?

I don't want to be viewed as a defector or a turncoat from the Central team, but if numbers and prior arrangements made with other posters in previous threads allow, would there be an opportunity to play on the SW team?

My work hours have increased substantially in the last year and I expect it will be very difficult for me to make the 6:30PM starting times on weekdays that the Central League plays (Double header Sunday's are much easier for me to attend). Should there not be any open spots, I would likely re-up this year with the Central Team but unfortunately not be able to make some games due to work.

I think you'd be most welcome, but I think we have to see how many returnees there are.

I think if Rhettzky returns we might be full up but if not I think Cowboy would be more than welcome. Lets give some thought to new Jerseys this season. It might be tight moneywise without Flash's company sponsorship though.

I'm in but have an operation scheduled on April 5th that will knock me out for a good month and probably two for physical activity. But I can still pay for a spot to just sub for the latter half of this year.

Either way, let me know what I need to do to be sure my name stays on the roster for when I'm 100% again.

I appreciate the consideration. Let me know either way what gets decided. Should I be accepted into the SW team I will pass on to the appropriate person whatever fees I owe. Upon acceptance we could also consider arranging a 'Rookie Dinner' at Osteria De Medici where Aeneas could pre-arrange bottle service pricing. Should there be any issues we could kindly inform management 'who we are' to rectify the problem!

Last year the hazing was particularly brutal, but that is to be expected. From what I recall it was something about drinking a bottle of tequila as fast as humanly possible?

Its harsh, but you can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning either.

On a more serious note I can arrange a deal on jersey's if people are interested? I can get some pricing, but was thinking that we might consider hockey jerseys or something similar...unless everyone thinks that is a horrible idea? In any event, I know someone who knows someone if there is no other conflict in that area.
