You seriously don't see a problem with random fights at a sporting event? Seriously?
That's just it though. Why is it a problem? Why do you want it watered down. It's amazing to have such an intense rivalry complete with trash talk, fighting and the likes. That's sports. It happens all over the world. Hell, the Calgary-Saskatchewan rivalry is tame in comparison....you inbred.
I'm all for an intense rivalry, I suppose I just don't see trash talking about where people are from as part of it. To each their own on that point though. I don't particularly like the fighting either, but again I suppose to each their own...you redneck.
I think the best way to further the rivalry would be a CJ Jihad to repaint all of the green tractors in Sasky to Red and White. If that doesn't do it, nothing will. Either that or switch their Great Western Lager with Big Rock Grasshopper

Yes, still using statistics from 2009, yet you fail to mention how the crime rates are falling. Some of the articles I've posted talk about disadvantaged people in some places of Saskatchewan contributing to the problem; that can't be fixed overnight. http://www.thestarphoenix.com/news/R...363/story.html

I'm a little surprised that people from Alberta have the nerve to make fun of Saskatchewan. Sure Sask doesn't have any major cities like Calgary but I've played a lot of minor hockey and been to many small towns in both provinces and people from Alberta making fun of Saskatchewan people for being hicks, inbred etc is like a blind person making fun of a deaf guy.
Don't get me wrong I've lived in Calgary for 15 years but both provinces are pretty much viewed as redneck, hick, inbred by pretty much everyone else in the country. In fact I would bet some of my TO friends would laugh hysterically to hear a redneck hick from Alberta call anyone from Sask inbred because they think we all are.
Go to Brooks, Oyen or any other of the hick towns in AB and try and tell me it is any better than Sask. Travel 20 mins up the QEII and check out Carstairs, Crossfield, Olds and you'll see some hicks that rival any Sask town.

That would be the second part that I don't understand. All of us Flames fans call Edmonton a crap hole but then we defend Alberta against Saskatchewan. Unless it is just Calgary that is semi-civilized and all the rest of AB and Sask are inbred hicks. I'm mostly ok with that. We could even include quite a bit of BC. There are some crazy Deliverance style towns in BC.
