You can tether any iPhone in Canada, regardless of OS. There is no tethering on the iPad, however.
(Who knows if tethering will always be available on the iPhone though? For a $0.99 investment, you have a non-jailbreak way around it.)

I would revert to prior but I'm not sure I have a backup, will have to check. If Apple doesn't fix this I will be reluctant to buy another iPhone next year when my contract is up.
Thanks

You realize all those issues are because the 3G is barely able to do half the things in iOS 4 right? It doesn't have the power to do any of it well.
edit: I should really read the rest of the comments before replying. Oh well.

I use several gigs a month on my Droid as well. If you watch much in the way of videos it adds up real fast.

Had an idea!

If you're only doing browsing, email, text messaging, chatting and IM, you won't break 500mb. But if you do video and music streaming you can easily get over 2-3gigs.

I find it hilarious, yes the bars drop, but that is not the issue at hand here. Did the Nokia lose all reception, thus cutting off data and voice? That video shows that it drops to 2 bars but then stops. Also is that how you would naturally hold the n97 mini?

It just doesn't seem natural to have your hand that far down and around the bottom of the phone and gripping it that tightly. Maybe I am the anomaly though *shrug*

I'm not even sure who Apple is directing their arguments towards at this point.
Anti-Apple folks are just complaining that Steve and Co. are blaming others and pretending the problem doesn't exist, so Apple's "look, other phones do it too" defense does nothing to help that.
Apple fanatics don't care what anyone says, and will buy the iPhone 4 regardless. See this weekend's This Week in Tech...
So that leaves who, the media? Stockholders?

SO far, that simply hasn't happened. I think they've made their case quite effectively, and the other companies we're caught in a 'oh sh*t!' moment.

Bingo.
It puts the bumper on it's skin, or else it gets the media again.

When I make a doctors appointment etc.. I set it up in my BB and I "invite" her Once she accepts it automatically goes into her Calendar without any further input.
Can this be done on the iphone without having to pay for a mobile me type service? We pay enough for phone service and do not really want to pay more.
|
We do this with Google calendars, and I use Nuevasync to sync the calendars wirelessly, so I can see and change my and her calendar on my phone realtime.

I have 3g... os 4.0 was terrible, so I jailbroke it trying for anything better. Kept stalling, would crash every app, had to reboot 5 times a day. So I restored back to original settings with the updated os 4, and it seems to be running alright thus far. Still keen on getting iphone 4 when the finances permit.

So as far as music goes down the iPhone work the exact same as the iTouch?
I have an adapter in my car that I plug my old Ipod into, I need to buy a new phone and I am torn between Android, BB and iPhone. Being able to have my music and phone as one and the same is very appealing... I understand that all three can do this, but I was planning on buying a touch regardless.. seems like I could two birds with one stone amirite?
