yup, shows 3 minutes of added time, then they play almost 5, even though Holland kicked off after the Uruguay goal in about 30 seconds.

Yup but Dutch have to play better. Loafing around like that and weak goalkeeping like that will be punished in the final.

Van Bommel was down for about 2 minutes
I think thats why he added on to the extra time

Nice work getting through by Netherlands, didn't look at their best but they'll be half of an exciting final!
If Spain goes through we will have a first time WC winner which is exciting.

I took the field due to impressive play by none other than Spain and Holland. So my reasoning was sound, but the Big 5 is still going to take it. Germany all the way.

Germany still has to beat two very good teams to win. Better teams than they have played so far.

That's the key point too. Germany have been very impressive but, honestly, England and Argentina were not exactly very good 'teams'. They had individual talent but they were nowhere near a cohesive unit. Germany picked both apart with their incredible counter-attack.
Holland and Spain, on the other hand, play as complete teams and neither have exactly played to their full potential yet either. It's going to be a much tougher task for this young German team but, and this a big but, my (vast!) experience tells me to never count Germany out.

Just watched it on my DVR. That first Dutch goal was among the best I've ever seen.

When Van Brockhorst kicked the ball, I was like "Why is he kicking the ball at net from there? What a waste!"
Then the ball went in. Such a perfect shot. Two inches to the left, the goalie tips it away with his hand, two inches to the right, it bounces off the post and out. Four inches lower, and the goalie saves it, a foot higher, and it goes over the next. Just incredible.

On that note. Where? I have been searching the city at the usual places looking for cheap jerseys and have yet to see any.
I was listening to the game on the radio today and just saw the highlights. Some weak play but some great goals and excitement at the end was fun to watch/listen to.

Why do you say that? Got anything to back it up? Let me remind you that Oranje came back on Brazil and beat them 2-1 just last week.
They have been playing as a team, sure the style hasn't been the prettiest to watch, but has got the job done.
Hup! Holland Hup!

As mentioned before I really hope that Spain wins today so it guarantees a new single star on the jerseys for next time.

I think Germany wins today, but regardless of result it should be an outstanding match!
