Like the CTR stock, MIAD grip, and PMAG. You should get MBUS sights and the AFG to truely be a Magpul whore.

I have the Smith & Wesson Sigma - 9mm w/ Hallow tip rounds

It is pretty entry level but i'm pleased with the accuracy at the range, a bit too heavy though. I plan to upgrade to a Glock or Baretta in the future.

It is actually a H&K P2000 9mm. I don't need MBUS because it has Troys .

How are assault rifles different from that?
Some assault rifles are considered in the restricted depending on barrel length, etc. For example, the FN PS90 (P90 Civilian model) is considered to be restricted in Canada, but with some modifications, it gets bumped down to the unrestricted class (Obviously Full Auto ones are in the prohibited class still). It has something to do with barrel length.

In general, semi automatic assault rifles fall into the category of unrestricted. Some are just outright banned. Here is the full RCMP list.

These are legal though.

FN FS2000

FN PS90

Canada has some really stupid rules.

You can get an Armalite reciever with pistol length barrel and it counts as a handgun. Because of that, you can legally get around the 5 round ammunition limit for assault rifles and use 10 round STANAG magazines as it counts as a handgun

I realized that you could get certain 'assault' rifles, but I didn't know the rules were like that.

Interesting.

I believe it is a Remington 700 CDL or BDL .243 Rem. I know it's a Remington 700 but am not 100% sure on the model as it is a hand me down from my grandfather.

I hunt, I like hunting. Lots of Canadians do, but it is certainly dying out.

To Bouw and Arrow: Why would you want hollow point ammunition unless you're going to use the hand gun to shoot people?
