It is a shop. http://www.snopes.com/photos/politics/palin.asp Sadly the shop made the photo better.

They think pistols are regulated, but if you have a restricted permit you can buy pretty much anything within a certain standard.
Can't get CCW though.

I am jealous of your guns tussery...
I wish we could get fun guns like that in Canada, that black one at the bottom in particular.

You can legally own a semi-automatic assault rifle. Magazine size just has to be restricted.
Good luck trying to get one though.

The AK-74 is a fun and cheap rifle to shoot, but will never shoot 1" groups at 100 yards like my AR-15.

Myself, I prefer the good 'ol 9mm. Decent all-around performance and it's cheap to shoot. My next gun will probably be a Walther P99, but in the meantime you can't beat a Glock 17.

I've heard the ammo is freaking expensive unless you hand load with .223.
Not for personal carry, just a range weapon/zombie stopper (just in case they come through the house in the middle of the night).
I'd like something with nice combination of power/low recoil - and I know the FN fits the bill, but is there anything else I should be looking at?

How so? You can order it online from These guys.
I know they'll also modify the barrels to make it so your "restricted" Assault rifle is now considered a "unrestricted" rifle - making it much easier to move & use.

The FN 5.7 round is expensive, not something I would want to go to the range and practice with. You can get 1000rds of 9mm for cheaper than 500rds of FN 5.7.
As a rifle round the FN 5.7 is worse than the .223/5.56 in ballistics.

Yeah, it won't do that in COD4 either.

You're confusing me.
Handguns are considered 'restricted' in Canada, so you just gotta get a 'restricted' license.
How are assault rifles different from that?

Is that like an AK-47 with dyslexia?
