You aren't a fanboy, you are collector/connoisseur.

Haha yeah, that may be it.
Also for anyone who is considering the Apple iPad case- it's a great case BUT it gets dirty VERYYYYYYYYYYY easily.
Stress the very.
But it is very good for positioning the iPad in many ways.
I would personally look at the Macally Bookstand case as an alternative that has some of the same features in terms of positioning.

Bell's plans are listed now. Exact same as Rogers.

Tell me there isn't collusion in the Canadian wireless world. I strongly encourage everyone who already has a data plan with one company, to get their iPad data from a different one. It's month-to-month with no contract, so there's no penalty or benefit other than just not giving another dime to a company you already pay for data from.
Having to pay for another data bucket when most people don't even come close to using up the one they already pay for is a complete joke.

I'm feeling very happy with my decision to use MyWi.... though I was completely, totally, 90,000% confident that the Canadian data providers would yet again rape and pillage their consumers. So as they say in South Park, f'em in the a'.

Honestly, FanIn80, maybe I missed it, but if you'd pointed out 71 pages ago that you probably aren't getting an iPad, I think it would have tempered some of the criticism.
To me a fanboy is someone that won't admit any faults in their preferred choice, and won't admit any positive qualities about the opposite "side". I don't think you're really that way, but at times on these forums you've come close to it for short periods of time.
I am not an Apple fan, for various reasons I've stated before, but I can admit they make quality hardware. Alternately, I can point out that the touch screen on my LG Voyager (that I loved) began peeling off after less than a year. So I don't think the idea of looking for negatives in your own "side" and positives on the other is a bad idea, really. Brings some balance to the Force.

Not exactly.
You can hate things about a specific product and not be a fanboy of a competing product.
I listed all those things that I dislike about Apple products but that doesn't make me anymore a fanboy of Microsoft, Google, Blackberry etc. It simply means that I understand there are problems with most peices of technology. If there were not these problems though, there would never be the "next new thing" to fix those problems and innovation would stagnate.
We don't want that. So I think pressuring a company into doing what we want as individuals is a good thing, because in the end it creates better, more usable products.

Telus has their data plans too.
250MB for $20
5GB for $50
What a ridiculously moronic company.

Who's crazy enough to line up for one this morning? This morning in the mall should be interesting/slightly more crowded than usual.

Haha! That is embarrassing. For $50 it should be unlimited.
EDIT: $20 for 500MB is nice a middle ground actually.

Nope, telus is charging $15 more per month for 5 gigs.
I am seeing some people on Twitter saying it's $20 for 500mb, which would be better than the $15 250mb plan through Rogers/bell. Of course ... that is twitter.

According to the twitter, some sku's are selling out at some locations, but there seems to be enough to go around.
Edit: Not that I'm refreshing it every 10 minutes or anything, but the FedEx site has finally updated ... it was at the FedEx facility at 8:00 am this morning.

Is that because you are refreshing every 2 minutes I am. Wife is stationed dutifully at home, I’m picking up and dropping off kids and also trying to work...this delivery will NOT be missed

Where are people seeing info on Telus’ plan? Why would they make it more expensive, that’s such a strange move.
