I gotta say tonight was probably the best episode of 24 I've seen in a while. Huge shocker at the end.

Holy that was intense...
How the hell do I feel more emotion after 24 than I do from the pacific?

If she decides to do nude scenes, otherwise she's done.

Definitely a cliff hanger for a finish...but here's my question: (possible spoiler)
When Jack and Rene went in at the end and killed the 3-4 bad guys, was the bad guy leader with them? Or is he still at large, it happened so fast that I wasn't sure.
Question the second: Where do you think the plot goes from here? I noticed there was a little talk with the Russian president, maybe that has something to do with future plot lines?

This would be the greatest show ever if somehow Nina survived and ended up being behind everything.

They should do a huge joke and have all the people that were 'dead' come back alive. It would be an epic way to end the show... or just really stupid.

most seasons usually tail off as they go, this one seems to be getting better every week
guess they know they can go for broke with it being the last season

I missed it on Monday and I'm too lazy to search for a synopsis of the episode.
Anyone want to give me a coles notes of how the various storylines developed?

I would suggest watching as they both were great, but ill do a mini thing in white so people dont see if they dont want too
Hassan found out what the terrorists wanted and agreed to hand himself over, he hit jack with a crowbar and took his gun.
He went with the army guy to meet Taran and exchange himself for the bomb, which they did. CTU took care of the bomb.
CTU spotted Taran/Hassan on satellite and were planning to ambush them, but Dana called him and they switched plans and got away. Jack knew there must be a mole so he told Chloe to find said mole. They found out that it was Dana. She told Jack that she would give up where Hassan was for full immunity.
She told them where he was, Jack, Renee, Freddie Prinze Jr and a bunch of other people went to the place as the terrorists were broadcasting over the internet the "trial" of Hassan and were getting ready to kill him. Jack got there (this whole scene was intense as it seemed he was just getting there in time) but the video had been pre recorded and Hassan was all ready killed.
There was also something with the russians that I think is being set up for the rest of the season, President Taylor implied that they wanted the peace deal to die so they may be behind the killing of Hassan.
The general and the press secretary got arrested for what they did (setting up the plan to take Hassan)

I don't doubt that but I'll admit I'm not the biggest 24 fan. I'm only watching this season because I saw a couple of the early ones and got hooked.
Oh, and thank you dirty Nucks fan for the synopsis you provided.

I KNEW IT!
I knew Hassan was going to be killed. Good on them for doing that. Something wrong actually happened. I was hoping the bomb was going to go off too though.
It is the same thing every season, the bomb never goes off and they always save them. I liked how they changed things up. Really helped the show IMO.
Too bad this is the last season, or else they could have a bomb actually go off or something huge.
Excited for next weeks to see where they go. I too think they will now deal with the Russians. Russians don't want the peace so they can stay in the country for the oil? Not sure exactly what is up with the Russians.
I also think Cole is going to kill Dana.

I think there is a lot of life left in the Dana/Cole story as well. When she told the terrorist that she was there to preserve her cover not to take orders from him - it was clear there was a 3rd party in the mix. Then the scene between president taylor and the Russian foreign minister really set the table for a new plot line.
Since Hassan has died - her immunity deal is squashed so now she needs to start talking again to save her life.
