24 - Season 8
Begins tonight with a 2 hour premiere and another 2 hours show tomorrow.
Possibly the last season of one of the greatest shows of the last 10 years.

Mods, feel free to delete this if it's a repeat, but I couldn't find anything.
Edit - Season 8

I only started watching 24on DVD a few months ago. I've finished season 5 so have two more to catch up on. What a great show.
I'm considering watching season 8 starting tonight. Should I do that? I could catch up on 6 and 7 later. Each season is self contained. There is the problem of watching seasons 6 and 7 later after watching 8 and the fact that characters get killed off.
I'm in a quandry. Should I watch season 8 before seasons 6 and 7? I don't have a PVR.

I would catch up on 6 and 7 first. Who knows what the writers will pull out of the last two seasons. Plus season 7 was one of the best, don't miss it.

Season 7 had about 7 MAJOR plot twists, which was exciting but really annoying. It was by far better than season 6. I am hoping this new season is as good as Season 1-4, which IMO were the best.
Not sure If I should watch the premiere tonight or watch Watchmen (haven't seen it yet), and just torrent 24.

Kim doesn't look that hot this season, maybe they're trying for the frumpy mom look. I had a difficult time getting into last season, but am finding this year to be decent so far.

I'll never take this show seriously while this Chloe Obrien woman is on it. how she has managed to stay on for so long is beyond me.

The Hassan character is just as shady as the real life actor's Slumdog character.
CTU goes from being a mothballed project to a bunkered super ultra high tech command centre in a couple years? Not really feeling it with the CTU director or the under-dressed blonde. Freddy Prinze may have some potential for a good character.
Next week, looks like the redhead from last year is coming back, looking like in a continued role as a female Jack Bauer rouge-in-training.

I'm board with more of last season's redhead for sure.

What the hell is with CTU now. It looks more like a 5 star hotel... but pretty cool.
I think this season has some pretty good potential. From last season and how Jack almost died... I think they got rid of that plotline way too fast. It was the pinnacle of Season 7 but in season 8 he just recovered... weird.

Gotta remember that this is CTU NYC not LA. Although it does look light years different.

No kidding, everytime she says one word I cringe. She is hands down the worst actor in Hollywood.
I still love 24, and Jack Bauer kicks ass, but I hate Chloe. HATE HER!

I like Chloe. There is a 24 forum with a poll for fave non-Bauer character and Chloe is getting lots of votes. As for being a bad actor, she's playing her role as a bitchy woman pretty well.

There's nothing wrong with Chloe. It's just the way her character is, and she's easily been my favourite non-Bauer since the show's inception. Personally, I still think she has Asperger's, but I don't think there's ever really been any confirmation (one way or the other).
On a side note, can the OP please change the title of this thread to Season 8?

Chloe's disgruntled expression is what makes her character so likable.
I'm not a fan of the new CTU office setting. Too slick. It will have to grow on me I guess.

I hope Jack shoots Hastings like he did to Chapelle, although I liked Chapelle near the end of his time though.
