The thing about Walt and this isn't going on spoilers, but the Actor who played Walt really had a growth spurt when he hit puberty and is now 6 feet and change making it very tough to bring him back.

Sources who have either read the full scripts, seen the video dailies and/or final post productions of some of the episodes put there ratings up for future episodes. It's incredible how close they've been to the ratings given by viewers after the episode has aired.

Why couldn't it be Charlie. we saw him on the plane with his drug overdose, and while we think he drowned, maybe he didn't?

In my opinion, I think the last recruit will be more along the lines of MiB/Locke having all the recruits on his side except for 1. And he needs all of them together to get off the island

Not the one...

Ok, on the lighthouse/name thing - is Kate not a candidate? was Locke lying about her? or is she no longer a candidate because she's on Locke's 'team'?

Holy spoiler, Batman. White text needs to be used in these instances. Luckily, I skipped over those titles.

Exactly my sentiments; not just that but I don't see what the problem could be with the rest of the series. Ah well - I could rant real good about that.

Not really a sequel - almost all of Kings books touch on the dark tower to some extent. Basically his fictional universe revolves around the dark tower.

True, but I'm a little fuzzy about the whole thing being as I read it a long time ago. But I remember that they went through a city littered with corpses and all the corpses had swollen necks, just like the people that had died of Captain Tripps in the stand.
Also to me the man in black was Randall Flagg, he had the same lineless palms and the look of good humor on his face.

You do remember it well, CC. Granted, I'm a total Dark Tower fanboy, but if you have the time to go through reading it again, I'd highly suggest it.

Nothing against it, but it could explain Lost.

I never read Dark Tower but now I'm curious and interested.
I see it's a series, is it like the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, where it's all about the first book, or do I have to read the series to get through all that's being discussed?
To keep the thread on-topic
Last week's episode was meh, but I guess it's a necessary evil to set up what's going to happen.

Hm, that's an interesting question. Let me describe Dark Tower like this:
It's kind of like Lord of the Rings (now, no-one should get their panties in a twist, I'm not comparing quality or cultural importance) in which it really is one long novel broken up into 7 pieces. Each story is a stand-alone, but for you to have the meaning you need to read the whole way through.
I've always said this to people: Get through the first book (I know, doesn't sound like a ringing endorsement) ... it sets up a lot and is the hardest to get through. After that, you're golden. That being said, the first is actually my favorite of the series.
If you're reading through for the first time, I'd strongly advise reading the "revised and expanded" version of The Gunslinger (book 1).

Did-a-chick?
Anyway ... to keep the conversation on topic, I've read online that if you liked "The Constant", you will love next week's episode ... and if not, then there is no way you are going to enjoy it.
