This season's Chuck has been getting better as it goes along. I like where they've taken the story.
On a side note, did you know that Adam Baldwin is even more crazy right wing than his character John Casey? Seriously, scary right wing.
Here's his political blog
http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/author/abaldwin/
He basically thinks that Sesame Street is a liberal conspracy to sell multiculturalism.

Oh man i do my best to stay clear of Baldwins twitter at all costs. Some of the things he says and RT's are just wayyy to crazy, even for the internet. The guy definitely has the perfect personality to play John Casey. On camera and during interviews he does come across as a very nice and humble guy however.

Just because he has some fairly "interesting" political ideas doesn't mean that he isn't probably a nice dude.

He def is a pretty nice guy from what I've seen. He gets along great with Zack and Josh both who lean pretty heavily to the left and is always throwing out comments about his co-stars and the show itself. He just has an interesting take on American Politics.

Ahh will try to get it for you, was watching that episode yesterday! Captain Awesome had a great monologue that same eppy about decapitating a bear.

He becomes the biggest threat with how much he knows about Chuck and his life.

Tonights episode would've been the second to last in the initial order of episodes given so expect big things! My prediction will hold true I think, and Shaw will find out that Sarah was the one to kill his wife.

This show has to get re-newed, I will never trust television again or the American people again if it does not.
Thoughts on the Episode On First Viewing (Yes I'm a nerd and watch each eppy at least 3 or 4 times)
- Shaw was the most likeable he had been all season. Brandon Routh finally made me believe he was an actual person. The writing of his character makes much more sense this season and in how easy it is to dislike him
- Jeff and Lester were simply amazing tonight. Jeff's comments about Shaw being able to fill out a pair of slacks and then his talk about Shaw meeting up for a gay hookup. Anybody else feel like they were teasing Chuck using Jeff and Lester on his team?
- Morgan actually quoted Jordan Sparks "Loved is a battlefield"
- Mr Crazy Right Wing was great again. The last few episodes they've really shown signs of Casey being a human being. The man has his pride and definitely has a soft side. Loved the exchange between him and Walker through morris code and Sarah thanking him for telling the truth about Chuck.
- Felt very much like a Lost episode with so much happening around the end of the episode. It also felt like it went on forever (in a good way)
- Morgan and Awesome can steal scenes when there together. The stake-out scene was great

I knew I had heard the line before so googled it and first name that came up was Jordan Sparks. Embarrassing on my part to say the least.
Song at the end of the episode was stellar again though

A question I guess appears now I've forgot to think about
Shaw's wife must've been a double agent, working for the Ring. What does that mean for Shaw? Will we learn more about her back story?

The first time I saw the scene I though it looked like a bad shoot, maybe a mistaken identity. The way the situation is panning out makes it appear like the termination is a card being played by the Ring. As such, she could have been innocent and it was simply a setup by the Ring to be played out at a later time.

From what we know from seasons 1 and 2 Fulcrum was a disgruntled CIA segment that was tired of securing the country and fighting the war on terrorism by the old cold war means. Thats why they wanted their own intersect so badly. Fulcrum agents considered themselves to be patriots who wanted to protect their country by any means neccessary.
We now know that Fulcrum was one part of the overall ring organization.
So its not to big of a stretch that a Ring operative who is a legitimate part of the American CIA order the hit on Shaw's wife. Maybe she knew to much about the Ring and had to be taken out.

Chuck ratings go up a little bit to 2.1 although it was up against HIMYM and House repeats. God thats a tough time slot when you factor in DWTS. But holding at 1.9 would've been crushing so it is at least somewhat of a step forward.
Best thing to come from last nights episode. No more awful Shaw/Sarah forced romance scenes.
Also big time critic Allen Sepinwall tweeted today:
Still trying to wipe smile off my face from advance look at next week's "Chuck," which is best of the season
3 week break after next weeks episode so make sure to tune in. This was the initial season finale for the season and if it's anything like last years it should be amazing

ok i know this show requires a person to shut off the analytical portion of their brain to enjoy it, but are they just trying to insult the viewer by showing a B2 STEALTH bomber flying a few hundred feet above a major city, and then dropping a bunker buster which somehow results in a gasoline explosion above ground?
other than that, good episode

Had to skip through all the posts, since I've just started watching the show. I'm half-way through season two right now and I have two things to say...
1. That sister of his is definitely in my top 5 list.
2. John Casey rules.
