A ton of call backs in this episode besides the obvious ones. A lot of S1

Can't help but think that Sarah was the one who killed Shaw's wife.

Chucktastic episode!!

BUMPED. Chuck just aired on the west coast.

Another strong episode that has def set up the last two episodes for what would've been the initial finale.

Thought Strahotski was great again tonight. Call me bias, but I have a tough time finding any other women in hollywood that can compare to what she brings to the table all around. Great acting, sexy as hell, holds her own in action scenes and has great chemistry with Zack. She was great all episode, and really carried this one.

Watching S1 and S2 episodes, this show is def. taken a much darker tone in this season. Chuck has evolved a ton but I still enjoy the little niche's that remind us of Chuck still being just an ordinary guy.

Watching it again tonight, I really believe even more that Sarah was the one who killed Shaws wife. When she talks about her first kill she says "no name, just a picture." I'm hoping it's not this obvious and "clean" but it would make sense and tie up the Shaw storyline. My question is if my theory is true: Does Shaw know that Sarah was the one who killed his wife or will he somehow become aware of it?

I spend too much energy trying to figure out Lost, so I usually just watch Chuck and take it as it goes ... and enjoy watching Strahotski. I hadn't even thought of the possibility that Sarah had killed Shaw's wife which makes sense especially given the timing of this week's episode (2 more until the 'initial' season finale??)

Chuck working for the bad guys would be very Alias ... but could be an interesting way to extend the show into a fourth season, if there is one ...

Could Jay Leno's cancellation be a good thing for a show like Chuck?

Anyone foresee where Chuck is going to be sent on a mission to kill one of the other big three?

Chuck ratings again awful at 1.9 18-34

Baffles my mind that more people aren't watching this show compared to some of the watered down crap on television. S4 is not looking good

Wow, just watched it
It's a nice reversal from season 1, where it was
<Chuck that was shocked when he saw Sarah kill that Fulcrum agent in cold blood>

That's because we all PVR it or watch it online. Have ratings been fixed to include PVR recording?

Sadly no and it comes down to who's watching it live and is a "neilson family" in the states. The system is def. flawed and it sucks that were prob gonna lose such a great show because of it. Chuck has a huge PVR/Download following, and that only makes sense when you think of the kind've audience watching it. Unfortunately that means nothing right now. Dancing With The Stars Premiered last night and took in 22 million. How sad is it that a show like that can draw such an audience. Ohh America

NBC has done an awful job with this show though and put it in a time slot of death on Mondays. One thing the show does have going for it is that NBC shows suck right now. Chuck's ratings were brutal last night and still the top rated on NBC last night.

I might be in the minority here but watching Lost tonight, I realize why I like Chuck so much. Lost is a heck of a show and I'll still tune in to watch it but Chuck just finds a way to give me what I like in lost with sprinkles on the top.

BUMPED

Watch Chuck tonight!! Who knows, perhaps someone on CP is an American Neilson family.

Tonights episode would've been the second to last in the initial order of episodes given so expect big things! My prediction will hold true I think, and Shaw will find out that Sarah was the one to kill his wife.

I agree with that, and once he finds out, all bets are off.

Since I still think that the Ring is inside the U.S. government, I still think that there's a key character thats in the ring that chuck is going to have to kill.

To me its either Shaw of the General.

At some point because Mr Awesome knows all and Morgan knows all, in the eyes of the ring they're prime targets, in the eyes of the government they're potential leaks.

Chuck will get an order to off one of those two as well.

Or maybe I just want a really dark show.

Actually they do include PVR's. The "live" rating includes PVR playback within the same day. Then there are other ratings that include PVR playback with 3 days and 7 days. Though advertisers generally only care about the Live rating, just think of how many time sensitive ads are shown.

Yeah reading up on it more and more I found that out. Chuck is still drawing over 7 million when you account for all the PVR and Hulu viewers. However it all comes down to advertising $$ and that means live viewers. This is a big week for Chuck with House and HIMYM repeats. If it could jump back over 2.0 it would go a long way to the show getting a 4th season.

CC not of the realm of possibilities as the show hasn't been afraid to go the darker route this season. I keep getting hints by the writers that they understand how unlikeable Shaw is (Chuck's comment of how Sarah's weekend must've been in DC last eppy) that there setting him up to be Chuck's biggest nemesis. He becomes the biggest threat with how much he knows about Chuck and his life.

Anyone have that one quote from a few shows back when Chuck has to lie for Awesome to Ellie about where he's been? It referenced a drunk Casey being arrested in the park for exposing himself or something? I just remember nearly falling off the coach hearing that lie and the face that Ellie made to Casey later on.
