If Derek Anderson is playing he is going to have to pray really hard for them to roll the Browns.

Eagles sign Colts DB Marlin Jackson to a two-year deal. I'm ecstatic about this deal if he can get healthy.

Antonio Bryant has signed a 4 year deal with the Bungles. Meaning TO is still looking for work.

The Ravens and Derrick Mason are very close on a 2-year contract.

Jake Delhomme is scheduled to meet the Brownies tomorrow.

If he can stay healthy he can be useful but that is the big question with him. Two major injuries the past 2 years which is why we did not offer him a contract. He was out of the lineup the past 2 years so on the playing aspect it is better that he gets a chance somewhere else. I wish him the best with the Eagles. I'll always remember him for the INT on the final play of the 2006 AFC Championship game against the Patriots. NE was down by 4 with not much time left (around 25 seconds) and Jackson intercepts Brady at the Colts 35 yard line to take the Colts to the Superbowl in what was the biggest comeback in a Conference Championship game.

I really really really hope Bob Sanders can stay healthy this year. He is one of the top few safeties in the game when he is healthy but the problem is he never is.

Rumors are the order of the day/week at this point in the NFL season, but this one seems semi-repuatable.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ne-wants-vick/

SEA's been calling PHI about McNabb or Kolb.

If you want to take it the next step and SEA gets one of these guys, it could mean Hasslebeck is out...which may be enough of a return for the Broncos to part with Marshall (where talk has cooled that any swap would be for that #6 pick). Pretty dramatic shakeup.

In less sensational, yet more fact based news, SEA is bringing in QB's Derek Anderson and Charlie Whitehurst in the next couple days. ARI is also doing the same with both QB's.

Derrick Mason signed a two year deal with B-More.

It's not hard to beat, but this would easily be, IMO, the best WR crew this team has ever had. Boldin, Mason, Stallworth and Clayton as a #4, add to the mix the fact they will probably go WR in the first round and I'm loving the fact that my team may finally have an all around offense.

the guy plays at a Jamarcus Russell level and he is offended that they booed him... any team that picks him up should be ecstatic, what a winner.....

If he gets back to anything close to 06/07 form than this is very good for the Eagles. Not sure if they won't try him at safety as well. Jones will be gone so we are relying upon Harris and Demps again barring and moves of picks.

NFL hall of famer Merlin Olsen died today at age 69. Outstanding player who went on to be a TV star.

ahhh...talk about memories. The Fearsome Foursome with Rosie and Deacon was some of my earliest football recollections.

Tough guy for such a soft-spoken fellow and one hell of a football player..

I remember watching NFL films one day about how Olsen would beat the tar out of whoever he played against, but it was never dirty, and he was always very polite about it. After he pancaked his guy he'd be like oh let me help you up, if he held you he'd say sorry type of thing. I can't remember who it was, but he said it drove him nuts that the nicest guy in the game was kicking his arse all over the field and he couldn't do anything about it.

The jury has a verdict in the Williams case, all concerned parties have been called back to court.

Edit: Guilty

I really hope is this gives closure to Brandon Marshall and Javon Walker. Those two were the most affected by this tragedy.

Jackson told the media that he was brought in to play FS opposite of Mikell. Should be interesting to see which direction they go in the draft now.

I honestly believe this: Had that incident never happened, Mike Shanahan would still be the coach of the Denver Broncos and they would've made the playoffs every year since.

It had a gigantic effect on this franchise. I too, hope this helps Marshall and Walker. I think it destroyed Walker for sure.
