CLE apparently interested in Seneca Wallace. If he needs a ride to SEA TAC, I'll get out there to help.

I thought Holmgren was just talking emotionally in his last PC with the Seahawks a year ago, when he said Wallace would be a starter in the NFL somewhere. Well, maybe Holmgren does believe this somehow, someway.

The guy is a great CFL QB, but has no football sense to go with above average running abilty. Not great arm strength, even worse accuracy.

No longer a young guy either. Hasn't helped that he has had Hasslebeck in front of him to watch...who's football sense at times is deplorable in his own right.

Anyways, CLE isn't far from releasing Anderson, but Quinn/Wallace I don't think is going to scare too many more teams this year, if that's how it plays out.

Regardless, a move like this is necessary for SEA to start moving on with the QB succession plan.

Aaron Kampman has agreed to a contract with Jacksonville. Terms of the deal and length are not known yet.

The Cleveland Browns have signed LB Scott Fujita... formerly of the New Orleans Saints.

Hope Fujita cashed in, he was a great warrior for the Saints.

Damn, I liked Keiaho, wonder who they'll bring in to replace them, draft? FA?

Besides the Marshall talk, SEA bringing in Mike Bell for a workout later this week.

Also, SEA supposedly one of two teams (BUF the other) so far to have Tebow come for a private workout next week.

I liked Bell last year, he really fights for those yards. He's always churning his legs, even when he's hit a brick wall. I remember seeing him in a game last year where he fell over and his momentum had him still pumping his legs on the ground, he kinda looked like a Three Stooges clip. He had a real nice start to the year, but then kinda disappeared down the stretch and in the play-offs due to injury, and Pierre Thomas finally getting healthy.

I think he'd be a solid addition to a team in a similar back-up role as in New Orleans, as long as he can keep himself healthy.

49ers sign David Carr to back up Smith.

They lost Tony Pashos to the Browns (Pashos only played one game for the Niners and broke his shoulder blade)
They also lost Arnaz Battle to the Steelers.

Rumour also has it they are interviewing Chris Baker, but it must be for depth since the TE position seems to be in pretty good shape with Delanie Walker and Vernon Davis as starters.

Just reading MMQB and Peter King mentioned how next year the Lions could potentially(probably?) have a D-line featuring Vanden Bosch, Corey Williams and Suh. That's a line that should make some noise. They're slowly starting to build something in Detroit.

I like Bell also, but I think he sealed his fate with the cleat debacle in the Super Bowl. This video was after slipping on 3rd and goal in the 2nd quarter, and being reminded pre-game to "put on the (screw-in) cleats":

Sorry for the crappy video quality.

Holy big money

The WR market is grossly inflated this off season.

That's huge for Chris Chambers, the guy has great hands some of the best, he always made the amazing catches for the dolphins, but it was his lack of catching the easy passes and the consistancy week in and week out that made the dolphins get rid of him.

One thing for sure though is Chris made Jay Fiedler look a lot better than he was.

I read that it's 3 years 12 million with 6 of it guaranteed for Chambers.

http://blogs.nfl.com/2010/03/08/chie...ree-year-deal/

His production was okay for the Chiefs, but it is a fair bit of money for a guy who probably didn't draw a great deal of interest from many other teams. He wouldn't start on too many NFL teams at this point in time.

Agreed about him dropping a few of the catchable balls, which was a real problem for the Chiefs last year.

Eagles re-signed Jason Avant to a five-year deal. The guy is clutch on third down.

Seneca Wallace was traded from Seattle to Cleveland for an undisclosed pick according to Schefter's twitter. Not very surprising, but now there's another hole for the Seahawks to fill, as if they didn't have enough spots to fill already.

Really??

Marshall has always been a team guy. Never complains about how many balls are coming his way. TO is just the opposite. I would come to the exact opposite conclusion.
