Filed to ESPN: Bears will announce it when they're ready, but the Julius Peppers deal is agreed to. He is a Bear.
As for the Marshall thing, I believe a trade would be sorted out between the two teams before an offer sheet were to be signed.

I'm all over getting the #6 pick for Marshall. Trade back if needed, get late 1st / 2nd round picks. This draft is supposed to be Dline heavy. Take Dez at 11 and go lineman for most of the other picks. Bowlen, please make this happen.

Why the HELL did the Eagles release Witherspoon? I'm completely lost on that. Just stupid.

I don't have any problems with it. He really started to fade towards the end of the year. Too much money for a guy who would've been fighting for a spot on the team come training camp.

So long as Boldin is healthy this really does have the potential to be a great deal for the Ravens. They have a great offensive line, Ray Rice is one of the best backs in the NFL right now, and they may now have an impact type receiver that they have lacked.
I had heard some talk that the Ravens should consider going after a RFA type receiver like Miles Austin, Vincent Jackson, or Brandon Marshal which would cost a 1st and a 3rd. I think this move is much better for them.

Fins make their first big splash of free agency. And it is a huge signing for the Fins. They have signed Karlos Dansby to a 5 year, 43 million contract.

Yep.
There'll be a nice defensive player at #6...or they could trade down and get a couple of late first rounders.
I think there will be a trade where we get our pick back at #14 though...just to rub more salt in my still raw wounds.

Dansby was regarded as the second best free agent by many, and really his production may be as good or better than Peppers.

I am super excited for this signing, safeties and line backers was definately our weak point last year.
This opens up the draft for the dolphins to look for a dlineman and a #1 WR through the draft if we can find a decent safety in free agency.

I agree, great signing. And to make things better, the Fins released the cancer Joey Porter.
Chad Pennington has signed a new deal to be the Fins backup this upcoming season as well.
I still think they are looking for a WR or 2 in free agency.

Ochocinco is campaigning for TO to sign with the Bengals and the management is starting to listen to him.
I love Ochocinco. Probably my favorite non-Colt in the whole league.

Really happy to read this morning that GB retained Chad clifton...if he had left it was looking fugly on the O-Line, which was already questionable to begin wuith. he is an important guy to keep while they look for a replacement through the draft or a trade, as the FA's at that position leave a lot to be desired...he was the cream of the crop no question.
Still lots of work for McCarthy and Thompson to do however...with the Arizona debacle still fresh in their minds, they absolutely have to figure out the defensive secondary problems, especially with Al Harris not being a sure thing when he comes back. Add to that the recent signings by the Bears, the division is going to be a brute this year....especially on D.
Aaron Kampman is as good as gone as well IMO...he was just never used to his strengths in the 3-4 and will get attention from many teams, even coming of ACL surgery. I suspect the Eagles will take a long hard look at him, though he can help any team that uses the 4-3 if he gets fully healthy.

The Patriots work out a long term deal with Wilfork to make him one of the highest paid Tackles in the league, 5 years 40 million with 25 guaranteed. They also retain Tully Banta-Cain who lead them with 10.5 sacks last year too.

Yep, I'd be happy with Kampman and then going LB in the draft. Wouldn't mind seeing Darren Sharper in Eagles colours as well, but that might be a pipe dream.

Colts release Raheem Brock and Jim Sorgi.
Tyjuan Hagler, Freddy Keiaho, Tim Jennings, Hank Baskett, and Aaron Francisco were let go as well.
Also Indy signs guard Andy Alleman.

Arizona has found a replacement at the S position picking up Kerry Rhodes from the Jets for a 4th round pick.
