Seriously, just be happy you're not coming here as an Oilers or Canuck fan.

Congrats, CK's mom. Glad to see this kid's efforts did not go to waste. As for Conscience, I have to call on the Captain:

About the only thing that could give this thread more win is an email to CP from Pillsbury's legal department. Better go check my email.

Pillsbury doesn't care, the amount of hits this contest generated from CP is a win for them.

Can we give KC a custom user title of "Winner of the Worst Son Ever Award"?

The entire contest was poorly setup. It proves once again how the internet is getting worse and worse. There are too many out of control silly people doing anything they want. Pillsbury should have had more controls in place.
As much as I hate the silliness of voting caused by the Jihad I believe the result is still valid. I hope the mom doesn't find out about all of the nonsense and feels less about her victory.

Ok, I missed this incredibly epic thread as it was happening, but let me see if I got this straight... Members of an internet message board that has a forum dedicated to posting contests are pissed because this internet message board posted a thread about a contest? So much so that one member (at least) felt the need to register here and cry because we "cheated" within the rules far more effectively than they did?
My god... you know we've hit it big when we piss off a forum full of coupon clipping, Weekly World News reading soccer moms.
Oh, and congrats to your mom, KC. Shame her son is such a bad, bad, evil person.

I could understand the complaints if the questionable votes had counted, but considering that those votes were thrown out, what's the problem? We helped the best recipe (as ultimately decided by the judges) move from 4th or 5th place into 3rd place by voting once each per day. Some of us even voted for other recipes that we thought looked good, and the comment about setting up a program to vote for the top 2 recipes to get them disqualified was clearly a joke. Irene Leung was the only one that appeared to be getting irregular votes after the reset, and we weren't the ones doing that.
So if Edmonton lady is here to tell us that we tainted the voting - she's wrong. If she's here to tell us that we're bad people and are probably going to hell - thanks, but we already knew that.

I didn't cheat but all I got was a page with what appeared to be recipes designed to torture people being held in Guantanamo Bay

I voted for 2 other recipes, but I didn't bother posting about it on here because there wasn't really a reason to mention it until now.

I am sure she has a white box e-machine connected to some over priced dial up service.
The fact that he/she whoever it is signed up for an account on here to bitch and complain is funny. The fact the he/she/it did the same thing as we did just in a less social network style makes it even more funny.
Yes, would my first vote been for anything Tuna - of course not, its Tuna. But the guy made a thread on here, I looked at the selection and it didnt look too bad so i voted a few times for it - I even forwarded this to some of my non CP friends to extend the Jihad
