They're in 1st, so not until the end, I don't think.

Virtue and Moir are like 14 pairs away, so it'll be a while.

The unfortunate part is, no matter how good that Canadian group just did, since it's their first Olympics, they won't get near the score they likely deserve because of the judges only ranking skaters that have existing reputations highest.

And if they continue to get better year by year and do well in world competitions, they'll have that exsisting reputation to use to their advantage in 4 years.

And then have a sub-par skate but still get ranked as one of the best.
Yawn.

Is Finland pretty good, or should Canada be up by more?

At the end of the game Canada should win by about 4-5 goals. Finland is getting better over the years but isn't there yet with US/Canada (but are much better then those crap teams like Russia, etc). They took Bronze in '98, got upset in the bronze medal game by Sweden in '02, and the US beat them in '06 in the Bronze Medal Game 4-0.

Aerials qualifying is on. Canadians are 1 and 3 right now (still early as only 6 of the 25 competitors have gone). 3 total Canadians in the field.

Finland has a huge advantage over countries like Canada who have older players they have a boat load of young talent.

Every time they mention the Finnish goalie Rattu, I can't help but think of that 70's music group Klaatu (and the movie character, I know).

That's an advantage? Maybe in 4 years time, but Canada has just as much talent in the development system if not more. That's where Canada and the US seperate themselves from the rest, the massive girls hockey programs that continually develop talent.

The Gold Medal game should be good. The problem is that there's such a gap between the top 2 teams and everyone else.

Yeah, it just seems like every other game is nothing but a formality.
Yawn.

Guaranteed medal in Women's Hockey! Although, you could have said that before the Olympics even started.

Anyone watching the dance program where a girl just lifted a guy? Pretty cool (probably somewhat gimmicky) move.

All 3 of the Canadian men in the Men's Aerials qualified for finals!
Only the top 12 qualify and there were 25 competitors.
