No. People only care about how their own country does.

Hopefully these olympics teach us a lesson to actually focus on other things than hockey and curling and get some medals in speed skating and skiing next olympics.
I am really disappointed as this is getting embarassing. Men aren't good enough to win a medal in speedskating (and women really), we keep losing possibilties for double medals, how the fricken hell do you have almost all the Canadian crashing or barely finishing in downhill skiing events?? They have been there and done that how many times?? To top things off hollingsworth chokes big and the bobsled flips.
Waiting for the next olympics, embarassing!

Realistically, 2 medals (Morrison Hamelin) should've been a lock. If really lucky, could've had 4 or 5.
Instead 0.
Crap in Womens Super G.
Third for Canada 2 in Bobsled in first run, then disaster. Other sled is 6th.
Choke job overall from the women short trackers with 3 in semis, and big choke in mens...inexcusible not to get 1 on the podium.
Choke by Morrison in long track.
Freestyle skier doesn't make final.
Only bright spot in medal event was putting 4 guys in top 15 in mens cross country, after previous best was 11th overall.

I will take it.
5-4 Canada. Murdoch has the hammer in the 7th. This one is getting intense.

That is just today too.
I'd be interested to see the projected medal winners/contenders lists for the last week and how many of our Canadians have choked.
Even the Snowboard Cross guy who won Silver choked his way out of a Gold medal.

Considering all the events will take place when no one in the country will be able to watch, it might be the thing.

I agree with Gretzky, those three play by play guys are a staple in Canadian curling. They do an excellent job with every tournament they call.

that's actually part of the problem IMO. so much emphasis is stressed in this country on participation and personal bests, even our athletes who finish 4th or 5th say stuff like "I feel like I won a medal". compared to the US or Russia, who don't settle for anything less than gold, Canada comes across as the kids soccer league that doesn't keep score, for fear of hurting the poor tykes feelings
i think a major psyche shift needs to happen in this country, so that our athletes stop thinking that 4th or 5th is "good enough". look at gold medal winners in the US, Michael Phelps and Shaun White are treated as rock stars at home and their fame sticks around for years after they've won their medals. but with Canada's closest example, Cindy Klassen and her boatload of medals from Turin, i hardly remember seeing anything about her after the games
we need to start pumping up our true champions a lot more and get rid of this humble Canadian crap if we really want to compete on the world stage

Alright. Tie game, Canada has the hammer in the 8th. Thanks to Murdoch's miss on his first stone, Canada is in great position to take this game and remain the only unbeaten team.
Stay focused guys!

Most of the great shots have been thrown by GB, but I still think Canada has the momentum.

We need more Jon Montgomerys...people that aren't so fragile mentally.
I think we must have the worst sports psychologists
