What a load of crap. Our best didn't play after the start of the 3rd.

Usually you are level headed...grow up. The guy is good and just had the winner in the Shootout.

Just because he didn't play your golden boy?
I had no problems with how Babcock coached this game. No one really looked great early on but the San Jose line. To me, Iginla didn't look great. Neither did Nash.
Babcock is one of the best coaches in the NHL. I'm still very happy he's the one behind the bench of this team.

Leave it to the media now to hammer the crap out of them with negativity and constantly remind them about how a completely different team played 4 years ago.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Swiss was the hardest working team I have seen in ages, hats off to them.

That wasn't a knock against Crosby, dude. Relax. I'm just mocking the media and their "what have you done for me lately" mentality.

I think Yzerman made some poor choices here.
Green should definetely be on this team.

Hey that's my line. Don't really agree that Canada was lucky to win, Canada fired a lot of shots on net, Hiler was outstanding. Still not happy with the way Babcock rolled the lines, awful.

Where can you find the time on ice for all teams? I'm sure it's been mentioned along the way but I am lazy and had a couple of pops lol. Thanks guys.

Canada showed ZERO effort and hustle through the vast majority of that game. ESPECIALLY the Heater-Big Joe-Patty Marleau line, who seemed to get the most ice time.
Crosby and Nash showing a lot of speed, and ocasionally a little hustle, but nothing else. Crosby not able to finish on Iginla's excellent feeds. Resulting in Iggy getting benched.
This game was a disgrace.

I just hope Iggy isn't injured. I'd like to keep thinking that Babcock is a moron playing the SJ line all the time with a sprinkle of the Ducks line and Crosby and Nash.
I'd have to agree with everyone that the bench management was horrible.

Well for one, the commentators were going on and on about how Babcock was using the hot hands in Heatley et al. from San Jose, which is true enough. But then why not have Iginla out there as well, after coming off 5 goals in 2 games?
As well, if there is any question at ALL that Iginla might be hurt, then get him the hell off of the bench and not on the physical 4th line.
And if you're going to bench Doughty for one mistake, why not Pronger for taking a stupid penalty, which leads to the tying Swiss goal in the delay. Why not Neidermayer for his poor overall play?
Baffling.

Who do you think should play goal against the US? If Marty gets between the pipes and Canada loses are you going to second guess the coach?

He puts on Toews who hasn't done a single thing in the last two games, he decides not to tinker with anyone of the other lines except the top one.
