I demand Jamie Campbell call every single event Canada is competing in from now on!!!

Also classy move by Nobs pumping up the crowd for Ricker.

Congrats Ricker!

Do they really have to play than song everytime we win a medal? I wonder if Canada would even win a gold medal if not for all the newer medal sports? Really hope we win gold in a more traditional sport (skiing, hockey, figure skating).

Not trying to down play the x-game sports, but they really do not have the same competitive levels as more established sports.

I find him to be one of the best commentators for ctv in these games. It helps that he's announcing canadian winners, but still.

But they're so much more awesome.

Fair, except they can take each other out. In the men's final it looked like one amercian was trying to take out the canadian at the start, so the other american could win.

Hey so if this was 1988, Canada would have 0 medals right now. These are all newer sports.

You are seriously kidding right? did you listen to him during those early qualifying round? Just terrible, but extremely lucky to be able to call these races.

Not that many people participate in these new events yet, is the point. Canada is good at things like trampoline, until other countries take it up.

snowboarding and aerial skiing are more relevant to our culture today than luge, traditional ski jumping, or biathlon. they're also much more fun to watch

Regan Canlauscher and Alex Gough are currently 1st and 3rd in Luge. Doubt it will stick as the three Germans are yet to come and they kill in these sport.

Actually, the newest sports, women's hockey aside, are some of the most competitive in the games.

As an example, this is the fourth time snowboarding has been a sport in the Olympics. In these four Olympics, 12 different nations have won medals; five nations have won gold.
