Same. Even that Coke Cola hockey commercial can get me smiling and a little teary.
Coke has another great commercial this year. not sure if CTV has shown it, but it was on NBC during the opening ceremonies, and it's just a big snowball fight with athletes from around the world and the camera follows a Canadian around. nothing emotional or flashy, just really cool

I think these are the Coke commericals you guys are talking about.
Still in shock I spent over an hour watching figure skating last night. I actually thought Pelltier and Sele's commentary actually made me hold off from switching channel. I thought Pelltier was hilarious and refreshing
CTV's coverage of the Olympic Games has been nothing short of incredible. They have involved everyone from their major networks and programs. Mixed and matched such great teams for both anouncing and commentating.
It has just been such a pleasure to watch all of their channels and always have something entertaining and fresh to look at.
Either way, there was a rumour not that long ago that CTV was in the running for HNIC, if this is any indication of the type of professionalism and dedication we would see, I am all for the change.

With the crappiness of the CBC, I would hope CTV gets it. CBC production value is terrible.
Mens Downhill Alpine on in about an hour an a half.
Did anyone see the bit on CBC last night with Mansbridge talking about how they, as a non-accredited network, have to cover the events? It was an interesting segment (just a bit of sour grapes but trying hard to be gracious) with Mansbridge and the other CBC guys wandering Whistler in the evening, doing chance interviews with athletes but not allowed to go in any of the venues, getting their photos taken outside of the CTV broadcast center and getting to meet Jennifer Hedger.
