If not, George is the last person who should say something like that. I like the guy, but he is a poser if I've ever seen one. Tries extremely hard to pull off a certain image and tries equally as hard to be that guy who's into everything/gets along with everyone.

I'm not against tattoos per say and I did say "tend" to agree with him, meaning I'm inclined but there is always exceptions to everything.
FWIW I did send him an e-mail asking him about the context in which he said that and on what show, so we'll see if he gets back to us.

I have 6. Love them all. Don't regret any of them. I don't give a rats a$$ if anyone has a problem with them. I plan to get at least one more. They are definitely addicting.

ANYONE who goes and gets tattooed on someone's couch or in an unlicensed shop is playing with fire. A good shop needs to have an autoclave to sterilize equipment (NOT NEEDLES). When you walk into a Tattoo shop, it should have the feel of a dentists office (with better art on the wall ).
Stories like this completely misrepresent tattoo shops, and give them a bad name. Tattoo artists need to be licensed and take courses on sterilization and cross contamination from the health region. You wouldn't go to a buddy's house and get dental work done in his basement, don't go get a tattoo there either. People just try and get work done for cheap, and that usually means a risky situation and a poor tattoo.. You want good work, that's in a sterile environment, it's going to cost you.
Stop calling it an etch a sketch, just because you are too afraid to get one does not mean you have to trivialize them..

Why would I be afraid of getting an etch-a-sketch other than it looking stupid?

People attack things they are afraid of or don't understand. It's why I instantly attack anyone wearing an Ed Hardy shirt with shiny crap on it!
Kidding of course.
Maybe you are afraid of needles. I don't know, but you clearly think tattoos are stupid, so just stop commenting on them if you aren't going to add anything to the discussion. This thread was asking who has tattoos and maybe some good shops to go to, not if you dislike tattoos.

Man I wish tattoos were more like etch-a-sketch. Then I might actually get one, as when I'm bored with it, I'd jump up and down, or shake my arm around and it'd be gone! As it stands right now, whatever I get I'm stuck with.
I've yet to find anything I like enough, and with enough meaning to get tattooed onto my skin. If you did great, it's all personal choice.
That said, stop calling it etch-a-sketch, but not because of the trivial aspect, but because it's just a horrible analogy.

As MQS mentioned, etch-a-sketch is not even a decent analogy let alone funny, insulting, or whatever else you intended it to be.
If you are going to slag tattoos at least come up with something better than that.
You're an embarassment to tattoo haters everywhere.

My next tattoo will be something that incorporates this logo along with the Saints. I've lived in the city, love the city, and seem to have to explain why it shouldn't be wiped off the face of the earth at least once a month.
