So dont get pissy when you see me in your hybrid spot and furthermore I will expect yourself and your fellow Hybrid owners to keep a safe distance from my car, if you damage it, that is a crime.
Then it will be my duty as a conscientious citizen to snap your picture with my camera phone and forward it to the store security so that you are banned from the premises.

Got nothing better to do? Do you also tattle on people whose parking meters have expired?

Sure. If the opportunity arose.

Or, we will see the more likely scenario the store owners realize the "honour system" is not working they will no longer offer Hybrid parking spots, but thanks for supporting my cause!

If you actually think you are going to see store owners activley attempting to have their own customers towed away (while they are shopping @ owners store no less!) to make sure the 1.2% of the population that drives a Hyrbid has a parking space close to the door then you're dreaming.

Let me know how the "movement" goes... Maybe I can get an autograph next time I see your Civic parked in the Hybrid stalls... That is if I can get close enough through the crowds of followers you must have
To quote the great Reggie Dunlop, if you damage my car, you will be breaking the law. And trust me, vandalism carries heavier consequence then you may think.

Money talks and BS walks, you know that Reggie. You can snap my picture all you want but we both know that if I am a good, or even somewhat regular customer of the store I will be not banned by the security officers, rather they will help my out to my non-hybrid with my packages and invite me back soon. Gotta love Capitalism.

Don't be so sure of that. It's not like they work on commission.

Dude, you have lost the argument, before you lose any remaining dignity you may have I expect and suggest that you tuck your tail between your legs and make yourself scarce.

And just so you know, before you go around "ass beating" everyone. As soon as you punch an innocent bystander he then is allowed to physically defend himself. ON top of that, your vandalism charge has now been upgraded to 1st degree assault. Your a real winner pal.

Well, I am sure of that Reggie, personal experience makes me very sure of it. And you're right, security do not work on commission. They do, however, have to follow very strict orders which come down from their manager/the store owner who only care about the bottom line and not at all about the hurt feelings of one camera totting Hybrid owner.

Their opinion is that conscientious consumers are better for business than jackasses.

I dont know who or what you're talking about Reg, the reality of this world is, like it or not, as I stated a few posts back: "money talks and BS walks".

It is that simple. If you don't like that Reg, might I suggest China?

Tell me, you're the sort who'd jam a full cart of groceries through the express (10 items or less) checkout too?

You also feel you have the inherent right to walk through a library with a megaphone because you are so self-important and have something to say?

You can help yourself to anything that isn't yours just because you feel like it.

You are a boor.

There wouldn't be any banning... we're talking about real life here, not a message board.

As long as kipperfan is a customer, they won't say a word to him. If you actually did contact security about him parking in a hybrid spot, they'd just give you a canned answer to make you feel better, assuring that you'll return as well.

It'd be horrible PR for a company to "ban" non-hybrid customers because they parked in the wrong space.

It'd be worse for them to lose a customer who respects store policies.

... And how do you KNOW this story to be true... or are you just creating a scenario of some kind?

Unless you spend more than all of the non-hybrid drivers who they would piss off, then no, it would not be worse for them.
