By the way, isn't it a penalty to go after the QB's at his feet or is that only for Tom Brady?

Toss in the onsides kick and you have a coach that didn't give his team a chance to win today.
The Moreno fumble was a terrible call too. I guess we're even now.

Withe the short week perhaps they didn't want to work Orton today AND on Thursday. Simms took all the 1st team snaps, if he can manage the game then let him take this one.
So I can see a reasoning, and if they won nobody would have questioned it and the Giants wouldn't know who would be starting. It didn't work, but Sims wasn't the one who fumbled on the goal line, either.

No, that was Mike Tolbert...but he recovered his own fumble.
I wasn't dogging Simms. I just think McDaniels was outcoached today...and by Norv Turner no less.

I think the Saints will finish 15-1.
Indy? I think they will finish 14-2 or 15-1. Next week's game is one where I see 1 of the losses coming. 16-0 means squat and honestly I don't really care. It would be nice to have a record but i'm more concerned about a Superbowl. Homefield throughout the playoffs is the #1 priority.

What's even more fitting in that situation. Superbowl is in Miami this year.

I think the Thursday night game against the giants is a tough one too. If they don't right the ship they could be 9-7 by the end of the year.

It shouldn't have been a tough game, but given the QB situation it may be. Let's not forget, the Giants are one coin flip from being 0-5 om their last 5.
This just in...they have a short week too.

Harris is the bigger loss. I like Tramon Williams as a nickel and sub guy, but he worries me a little being the opposite corner. I also worry that this may force the Packers to blitz Woodson a little less which has been extremely effective for them.
Need someone to step up.
Edit: What could be lost in all of this is that both of these guys, long time Packers, may have played their last down for GB. Harris is getting up there in age and this injury sure isn't going to make the pack want to take on a CB his age coming off a serious knee injury at the money he demands.
Kampman is already a FA who there are serious doubts the Pack will resign. he's been an OK at best fit in the 3-4, but is being paid very well to do it. I think he clearly would rather go to a 4-3 team where he could earn more money.
both of these guys have had great careers with the Packers, and its very possible both just played their last game in the Green and Gold.

McNabb is probably giving Cutler the best places to get some pizza in Chicago.

You think GB will bring Kampman back, or he moved on to a team with a 4-3 base defense?

i figured the broncos would come down to earth, perhaps not this quickly and pathetically though.. "hoodie jr." isnt doing too many fist pumps these days. what i dont think he realized when denver caught teams by surprise was that unless you are a fantastic team, you will come back down to earth.. looks good on him...

Mcnabb was no doubt saying how every one in the league thinks cutler is a whiny, selfish, overrated piece of garbage....

Kyle Orton says he will definitely start on Thursday. No setback on the ankle.
