yeah, that Reed play was a real head scratcher. There was no where to go for anyone around him either.

Was going to be the worst play of the day until Caldwell made an even dumber play.

I'm looking forward to your game next week vs New Orleans. I think that will be a good old fashioned shootout.

Patriots? Yeah I can agree with that.

But next week will be one of the games of the year IMO for entertainment purposes. Both those teams can flat out score.

Saints division lead is 5 games with 6 left to play.

Feelin' good about their chances...

Not really, it could happen but the injury bug is biting them pretty hard right now.

I'm hoping the defense heals up before next Monday night. Their entire secondary is walking wounded. They've been missing Sedrick Ellis up the middle as well.

If they get past New England, I'll think about 16-0.

Remaining schedule:
NE @ NO
NO @ WAS
NO @ ATL
DAL @ NO
TB @ NO
NO @ CAR

Yeah, that game is the toughest remaining for NO this season. Indy's toughest game remaining is also next week @ Houston IMO.

@ Houston
Tennessee
Denver
@ Jacksonville
NY Jets
@ Buffalo

Houston game is the toughest IMO like I said, and then the game @ Jacksonville would be the 2nd toughest.

I doubt anyone goes to 16-0 this year...too many injuries on both clubs that will bite them at some point.

So are the pundits going to let up on the Eagles a bit for their losses to the Raiders and Chargers after today?

Agreed, both of their secondaries are decimated. Could you imagine if both teams won out and played each other in the Super Bowl? Mercury Morris' head would explode!

I'm just hoping for home dome advantage.

It would be funny, as long as it isn't an AFC East team I don't care if there is another undefeated team.

The question I have, has there ever been a team that started 6-0 and failed to make the playoffs because the Broncos are on the verge of accomplishing that feat.

The 2003 Minnesota Vikings.

Schedule gets easier now, except for the trips to Indy and Philly.

If Orton could play, he should've started. San Diego exploited Simms' blind side, the injury to Ryan Harris and Simms' slower release from the very begining. I was happy to see Orton come in, but I was pissed off because there's no reason to not start him if he can play. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Toss in the onsides kick and you have a coach that didn't give his team a chance to win today.

The Moreno fumble was a terrible call too. I guess we're even now.

Brutal news for the Packers...

Both Al Harris and Aaron Kampman are done for the season with torn ACL injuries.

Sigh.

I remember a few years ago the Skins stared 8-1 and managed to miss the dance, didn't know about the Vikings though. Ya Broncos are in trouble.
