Absolutely 100% my favorite is Lime Crush. It was hard to find in Ontario when I lived there (2000-05) sporadically in 7-11 stores. It's in pretty much every store down here. Funny as it's bottled in Mississauga.

Vernors Ginger Ale.
I also enjoy Fresca.

Clearly Canadian was pretty decent - I think they might still sell it...? Orbitz, in my opinion, were vile.
I don't drink much pop, but if I do, I can't pass on Dad's Root Beer.

I don't understand people who supposedly can't tell the difference between Pepsi and Coke. Pepsi has a slightly bitter aftertaste that is unmistakable.
Anyway, here's my pop preferences:
Coke over Pepsi
7Up over Sprite, though Mountain Dew is better than both
Mug Root Beer far exceeds Barq's or even A&W in my view
Crush's Cream Soda is pretty good too
My family is definitely a Coke family, though. We go through about a 2L bottle for every meal or so, and probably another one just through the day. My friends always thought I was nuts when I had a drink of Coke for breakfast, and swore one day that it was going to kill me. I've kinda been drinking less the last little bit (milk & chocolate milk have been fine replacements), but it's still a staple.
Oh, and I swear by Captain Morgan's Parrot Bay rum and Coca-Cola. It tastes exactly like Vanilla Coke.

Haha, totally forgot about Orbitz. They were pretty nasty, but a cool enough concept.

To me Coca Cola has an acidic after taste and Pepsi is smoother on the palette. I wish I was joking in saying that. I don't even drink alot of pop/soda but I like it top notch when I do.

That video was awesome Photon. I guess thats why Icelandic pop is so good, they all use sugars, at least most of them. Everytime I'm in Iceland I get a bottle of coke (glass) and am stunned at the difference, that comment in the video is so bang on, its an explosion of taste compared to the crap out here in North America.
But yeah my favorites have to be Ginger Ale (canada dry usually) and this Icelandic orange pop:
Boo on you corn syrup!

That's good stuff. But you're right, I've not seen much of it here in Ottawa.
But even when back east, I tend to get the Big 8 cheapy stuff.....

Cherry Coke is easily #1 on the list for me. Any time a relative or friends goes on a road trip to the States, I ask them to pick me up a few cases of it. When my wife and I go down to Spokane/Coeur D'Alene for a weekend here and there, I load up on the stuff. I really wish they sold it up here.
