It... still just sounds to me like they were being considerate? But maybe we're missing something in the tone of voices they used or something.

Yeah I thought I made that clear when I said they were acting condescending.
I really wasn't looking for advice, I was just venting.

It is ok. I can understand it was clearly one of those had to be there kind of moments.
I'm just trying to save people the trouble of reading too much into it. I just wanted to get it off my chest. Maybe it shouldn't have bothered me at all but for some reason it did. Probably all stemmed from the tone they used on the phone with me.

Oven racks, nail polish, "my girlfriends hurt my feelings" - I'm sorry, but this is a hockey board and we've gone over the daily limit for non-manly topics in this thread. Please up the macho by about 30 points, or the Gimp'll be paying you a visit - and not the friendly one from the movies, either.

We just got a new BBQ and I made sure I was the first one to be able to use it.
It was glorious. Me and my dad were admiring it like it was a beautiful piece of machinery, and it is.
I love the smell of searing animal flesh.

I pretty much swear by OPI polishes.
Though I admit, my absolute favorite base coat is from a company called Creative--"sticky." It really helps the polish to stay adhered. Great stuff.
Keep an eye out, all the OPI holiday specials should be showing up in your stores soon, we just got some in today, lots of the small bottles, those are fun if you don't want to spend a ton of money but want to try a few new colors.

Just cut the bag open and dump everything into a pot, throw a lid on it, and cook over a burner on high. Keep shaking it and it will be fine.

Thanks guys. Since you made them feel welcome, they are now over running our board with talk of nail polish and stuff.
Next there will be a thread on what brand of feminine hygiene pads work best and whether or not chicks should use tampons or maxi pads.
