Have seen a movie at the Palace Theatre.
Have played video games at Illusions Arcade down the street.
Had a pint of beer in the Unicorn.
Had a deli sandwich at the original Spolumbos.
Shopped at Eatons in Southcentre and Woodwards in Chinook Centre.

Gone to see that lousy Steven Seagal movie "Exit Wounds" just to see the gunfight on the Centre Street Bridge.

For the old timers, stood on the observation deck of the Calgary Tower and didn't look up at a dozen buildings.

I also think the Red Mile experience in 04 is pretty unique to Calgarians.

* decided to sell flames tickets on a friday night to go to the pavillion and watch stampede wrestling instead.

* know that superman as a kid was a Calgarian

* know the buildings that had the nightly laser shows (planetarium style) during the olympics
